Welcome! I’m a passionate explorer of Venice’s timeless beauty. After nearly 40 years as an English teacher, I’ve turned a lifelong love for this extraordinary city into a new adventure—offering authentic, personalized tours that go far beyond the usual landmarks. I’ve called Venice home since 1987, and I’m still constantly amazed by its hidden corners, untold stories, and subtle details most visitors never notice. As a volunteer with FAI (the Italian National Trust), I’m deeply connected to the city’s history, architecture, and traditions—and I love sharing that passion with curious travellers. Whether you’re intrigued by Renaissance secrets, contemporary art at the Biennale, or simply want to wander off the beaten path, I’d love to guide you through the real Venice—the one that locals cherish. With me, you’ll discover more than just sights; you’ll uncover meanings, moments, and memories. Let’s explore Venice together, one story at a time. Docent at the Olivetti Showroom since 2017. Research and management of the guided tours for the Danieli Hotel on the 200th anniversary of the house in 2022. I do not have a license to give tours of the Doge's Palace, St. Mark's Basilica, the State Museums or the Civic Museums. Beginning in 2024, a new access fee will be implemented for visitors to Venice. While some visitors are exempt from this fee, others will be required to pay. In the relatively small area of the Giardini della Biennale, one of the main venues where the exhibitions of the Biennale are held yearly, there are buildings designed by masters of the architecture of the 20th century, from Alvar Aalto to Carlo Scarpa, from Gerrit Rietveld to Sverre Fehn. Let's discover these together! It's an out-of-the-ordinary site for the presence of many valuable buildings designed by eminent architects that deserves a thorough visit regardless of the current exhibition. This is a unique and special way to spend your time in Venice away for the busy tourist sites. What I like most about this site is that in even years it's a display of visual arts, and in odd years it's architecture. Join me to walk through this larger-than-life experience!
- We'll meet in front of the ticket kiosks of the Giardini della Biennale or at your chosen meeting location - We will visit these pavilions: the Netherlands (G. Rietveld), Finland (A. Aalto), Denmark extension (P. Koch), Switzerland (B. Giacometti), Venezuela (C. Scarpa), the Nordic Countries (S. Fehn), Japan (T. Joshizaka), Korea (SC Kim, F. Mancuso) Canada (BBPR), Australia (Denton Corker Marshall), Venice (B. Del Giudice), Austria (J. Hoffmann). - Besides, we'll see the former ticket kiosk and the stone garden by C. Scarpa.
