Overview of your Venice tour
Would you like to enter the most authentic soul of Venice? This is what I'll get you to reach: an overlook on the main highlights of the city, the elegant palazzi, a stroll around the alleyways to the Rialto market. It's then time to catch a waterbus** and go to Burano, the most colourful island of the lagoon. We'll visit an ancient atelier where the local ladies still produce the famous handmade LACE. Another cruise in the lagoon and we arrive in Murano: since the 13th century this island has hosted the glass blowers workshops. I will take you off the beaten paths to one of the hidden and most ancient glass master's workshop, where we have the opportunity to see how glass is shaped to become a masterpiece. **During the high seasons it is necessary to navigate at least partially on a private watertaxi, as public means of transport are very crowded and there may have no seats available during the 55 minute cruise to Burano and return. Your Venice tour itinerary
-We'll go along the most unique alleyways to discover how Venice has become the richest State in the world in the old times -I will show you the hidden districts where nowadays the Venetians live, the most lively street markets, so as the elegant palaces of the old aristocracy. -We will see the St. Mark's square with the Basilica and the Doge's palace -After a cruise in the lagoon (15 minutes by private taxi, 55 minutes by public waterbus) we'll be in Burano to visit a lace laboratory and the typical colored homes of the island -Again on the vaporetto (the public waterbus) for 40 minutes to Murano, the island of the glass blowing artists. After visiting a real glass factory and learning all the secrets of this fascinating art, we will go back to Venice.
