Enjoy this great sparkling wine, the charming Prosecco hills and experience the area as a local with a real local guide. The Prosecco area is just an hour drive from Venice! The hills due to their beauty are now a UNESCO world heritage site, meaning they have been awarded as a unique rural landscape with ancient traditions. This is an intimate and relaxing tour: there will be no rush and it's a great chance to take a break from crowded Venice and immerse yourself into a local experience. We will slowly drive from Venice to these beautiful hills enjoying the great views, the landscape and visiting two wineries to taste great Prosecco of course but also have some appetizers and hear about winemaking directly from the producers! What a fantastic and unique tour! Alex took us up into the Prosecco Hills and the views were relentlessly spectacular. We spent a peaceful day touring local wineries, learning a lot about the process and history of winemaking, and also enjoyed two intimate tastings. My wife and I came away with plenty of new knowledge and appreciation of the Valdobbiadene region. We also stopped for some great food along the way, and Alex was a great companion and guide.

The tour was FANTASTIC, definitely one of the highlights of my vacation. Alex is a GREAT guide, and took us to the best wineries and to lunch to a hidden gem within Prosecco, time flew because of our great conversation and took great care of us all the time, even to take us to this location just for the best pictures of the hills. What a fabulous day trip! We enjoyed every moment. It was a beautiful drive into the Prosecco area where Alex took us to two award winning wineries. We learned so much about this wine, how it is made and graded. Our stop for lunch was one of the best meals of our stay in Italy. Alex was engaging and a pleasure to be with. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to have a relaxing day into the Italian countryside.

Alex is fantastico! We met him in a very busy Piazzale Roma after taking a water taxi from our hotel. He picked us up and got us up into the Prosecco Hills where we were able to move along at our pace and visit two hand picked local wineries. We also had lunch at a restaurant overlooking the area that we thoroughly enjoyed. We can't recommend Alex enough but we can certainly thank him plenty. Grazie mille Alex!
-We will start from Venice - Piazzale Roma -We will slowly drive outside Venice towards the Treviso hills, home of the Prosecco wine. -After going out of the highway, we will take some secondary roads so that you can enjoy the landscape and we can stop in a coffee shop for a break -The first winery is waiting for us, I personally choose historical wineries with charming cellars, panoramic views and great tradition. -The wine tasting will be paired with some local appetizers -Driving through the hills we will also stop to give you the opportunity to take some great pics of the surroundings, no rush. -Time for lunch in a very typical trattoria (local restaurant) with panoramic setting -Some relax and we are ready for our second winery -After the tasting, depending on how much time we have left, we can visit a charming hidden spot to take some memorable pics of your tour! -Time to slowly drive back to Venice Please contact me for customization!
