Benvenuti! I'm Daniela, a passionate local guide specializing in Venice, Vicenza and the stunning Palladian Villas. I offer a variety of tailored tours across the Veneto Region, catering to first-time visitors as well as returning travelers eager to explore hidden gems beyond the usual tourist routes. My goal is to create a truly personalized experience, unveiling the beauty, history, and fascinating stories that make this Region so unique. With a deep love for history and fine arts, I have spent years immersing myself in the rich heritage, traditions and folklore of Veneto. I hold a specialization in contemporary Venetian history and have pursued a master's degree at Venice University, focusing on the history and art of this extraordinary city. As a true local, I take great pride in sharing my passion with my guests. Whether it’s a sightseeing adventure through my favorite spots, an off-the-beaten-path exploration, or a delightful food and wine tour, I craft experiences that go beyond the ordinary. Being a true "foodie," I love discovering authentic restaurants where you can savor traditional Italian flavors. I love working with independent travelers, building a friendly and informal connection with my guests. Flexibility is key, I enjoy adapting itineraries to match their interests, sometimes uncovering secret gardens or hidden gems along the way. In the end, every tour becomes a unique and personalized experience, shaped by the mood and passions of my guests. I truly love what I do, and I consider myself incredibly lucky to share my passion with others. Overview of your Venice tour

In the mid-1400s Venice was the most powerful city in Italy, made rich by nearly a thousand years of commerce, mostly oriental trade for spices and luxury goods from the East. For centuries Venice maintained its prestige and legendary splendor. Venetian artists grounded their art in the senses, they appealed to the eye and the spirit through brilliant colour, glowing light, and the beauties of nature. By the end of the XVth century Venetian painters had absorbed the Renaissance innovations of Florence and central Italy: they captured light and reflections in a unique way. This is what we will get to know through this colourful walking tour: the art of Giovanni Bellini, Titian, Tintoretto, Paolo Veronese and the major Venetian artists who exerted great influence upon the subsequent development of Western painting. Their inheritance was perfectly absorbed by Tiepolo, during the XVIII century.

Our tour with Daniela was an absolute delight! Her deep knowledge of Venetian art and history made each stop—whether it was the Frari Church, the Scuola Grande di San Rocco, or the Scuola Grande dei Carmini—truly captivating. Daniela’s ability to bring out the beauty and significance of works by Titian, Tintoretto, Bellini, and Tiepolo left us with a profound appreciation for these masterpieces. Exploring other areas in Venice, like Campo Santa Margherita, added a charming local touch to the experience. Daniela’s enthusiasm, combined with her expertise, made this tour both enlightening and enjoyable. Highly recommended!
