I've been living in Venice's area since I was 7 years old, and the years spent here gave me the time to know even little details in Venice and to develop a love for this city. My History degree gave me knowledge which I'm prepared to share with you, and I'll take you back to the past as we explore Venice's highlights and secret zones, as well the zones around Venice (Padua, the Brenta River. . . ). My greatest passion is to discover new stories and to tell them in the most relaxed way. Do you want to hear funny, scary or emotional stories? Or all of them? Do you need to find the perfect place to enjoy a break? I'm your guy. My strenghts are patience, friendliness and humor. See you in Venice! History degree at Venice's University Ca' Foscari and national tour guide license (Modena, nr. 335) None.

We all know about Saint Mark's square, but what about the unknown treasures of Venice? This is what this tour is about. Let me show you the part of the city where I like to stroll. With me at your disposal, you will discover both marvelous locations and the amazing stories behind them. What happened here? Who fought there? Who loved and who committed crimes? And where? If you want to not only see the great parts, but also to know the tales behind them, I'm the guy for you. We shall see quiet and underrated areas, away from noisy crowds, and we'll find stunning places, such as a noble palace, a surprising basilica, an unforgettable bookshop, and peaceful squares. All of this while walking through the typical Venetian little streets (calle), and you may take a break to enjoy a drink whenever you want!
-Starting from Saint Mark's square, where we'll see together its incredible marvels, we'll take some less known routes and arrive in Campo S. Maria Formosa, a square rich of stories and curious details. -Nearby we will find the aristocratic and often deserted Grimani Palace, where, among the palace's surprises, we'll learn how the Venetian nobility used to live. -After that, we will reach the High Water bookshop, a perfect spot for pictures and one of the most beautiful bookshops in the world. -More squares - where you may enjoy a good pastry or a glass of wine, if you wish - will wait for us, before we see the less known but amazing Basilica dei Santi Giovanni e Paolo. -The tour will end in Saint Mark's square, where we'll shake hands. I can create a customized tour upon your request.
