After years of experiences in Venice's area, I picked for you the best of the best in this tour. I carefully selected the places I love the most in order to give you the most complete experience. Not only we'll see Venice's highlights and some of its unknown gems in this 3 days tour, but we will discover the islands Murano, Burano and Mazzorbo, as well as the villas in the countryside and the medieval city of Padua. We will taste the local food, and, if you wish, the wine. Discover the best kind of pizza in Murano, the venetian cicchetti and pastries, the biscuits in Burano, the coffee and the pasta in Padua. Take a stroll in a vineyard, explore noble palaces, visit a magnificent villa on a river, enter in unforgettable basilicas, stop for a break in historical cafès, see astonishing works a glass gallery, take your time in a shop of handmade masks, find hidden gardens and relax while seeing gondolas instead of cars. No rush. Of course, we can personalize this tour according to your needs and wishes.
Your Venice tour itinerary
DAY 1: Venice. We will see the famous St Mark's square, but also my favourite less known places: Ca' Rezzonico, one of the Grand Schools, the basilica St Mary of Health, the Academy's bridge, various squares, the shops Acqua Alta and Ca' Macana. We will stop for lunch in a great restaurant and have breaks for pastries, cicchetti and wine. DAY 2: The islands. We will see the vineyard and the church in Mazzorbo, and walk in Burano (we'll have time to visit the lace shops) and have a break for the biscuits while seeing the coloured houses. Then in Murano we will visit a glass gallery and stop for lunch (the pizza there is recommended). After experiencing Murano, we will return once more to Venice, where we will explore its northern districts. DAY 3: Padua and the Brenta River. In the mornig we'll see Padua (Palace of Reason, Eremitani church, St Anthony, St Justina, Prato della Valle) and have lunch there, while in the afternoon we will see the countryside and enter in one of the villas in the Brenta River.
