Hi, I'm Veronica! Born and raised in a town not far from Milan, I moved to Venice when I was 19 and it has been love at first sight. From then on, I've always considered the lagoon my home, my nest, the place where I feel safe and loved. I've studied Oriental Languages at Ca' Foscari University and I graduated in Mandarin, a choice that made me travel a lot in China and live there for many years. Living abroad gave the opportunity to appreciate the different shades of a different culture and made me see my own culture as part of a wonderful melting pot which is the world. I has been a teacher for quite a few years, both in Shanghai and in Italy, and this is an important aspect of myself: I love to share and communicate. I have also lived in beautiful Florence where I studied art, another great love of my life. Now, as tour guide, I have this amazing privilege to combine my greatest passions, so I can share the enthusiasm for my city with people who, like me, are eager to 'live' another country not as a stranger, to walk in the streets feeling a local, to taste the specialties and going back home with a wonderful experience and, why not, a new friend. What I like most is to personalize every experience for my guests, following their inclinations, their interests and curiosity. So if you're planning to come to Venice, let's get in touch! I'll be delighted to create bespoke tours for you! - Tourist Guide License 4917/2018 (Florence and province) - Professional licensed Tour Leader Licensed guides have no restrictions.

"I decided Venice would be my future home. I had always loved it more than any place on earth and felt I would be happy alone there. " With these words Peggy Guggenheim has declared her love for the floating city, and definitely she has been loved back, and still is. This tour allow everyone to be witness of this love visiting the great collection of modern art that Peggy left to the city. In her rooms we will enjoy artworks of the greatest artists of the 20th century like Picasso, Duchamp, Mondrian, Kandinsky and Pollock, just to name a few! Settled in an unfinished Venetian aristocratic palace, the collection is just a part of the magic as it is displayed in what was the actual house of Peggy, whose presence still lingers everywhere making the visit a truly unforgettable experience.
-The tour will cover the collection in the museum, Peggy Guggenheim's Venetian home-turned-to-gallery, and in the garden of Palazzo Venier dei Leoni.
