My name is Lucrezia and I am a licensed tour guide in Venice! I was born and raised in the northern "Sestiere" (district) of Venice: Cannaregio. Since I was a child I've always been interested in other countries and cultures and I loved studying foreign languages, so I chose graduate in Literature and Foreign Languages and then got a master degree in Economics of Tourism and Arts at the University of Venice - Ca' Foscari. Meanwhile I had the chance to travel as well, I visited most of the European capitals and part of the United States, but I also spent some weeks in the UK, France, Spain and Russia to study. The love for my city, Venice, has never decreased over the years though and this is why I have decided to become a tour guide. My "mission" is to show travelers my city from a local's point of view, by sharing my passion and enthusiasm for my hometown with them, as only a local could do. Most of my tours are "off-the-beaten-track", since I think that, in order to see the true Venice, it's necessary to walk away from the crowds and from the touristy sites and walk through charming and quiet neighborhoods, looking for the hidden corners and peaceful streets of the city, where you can still feel the authenticity and the magic of this place. I love to focus also on local traditions, habits and lifestyle today and in the past, to let you see how it feels like to be a local in Venice! I'd like travelers to feel at home here, as if they were simply having a relaxing walk with a longtime Venetian friend! WHY YOU WOULD ENJOY A TOUR WITH ME? :) -I'm truly passionate about Venice and its traditions and I can take you in those hidden areas of the city that only true Venetians know; -I can customize all the tours for you, according to your preferences and interests; -If you'd like to see the "Highlights of Venice", such as Rialto Bridge, St. Mark's Sq. etc. , I can take you there and help you to unveil secrets and disclose stories even there, showing you the almost unperceivable signs that time left on the buildings; -I can guide you through the Islands of the lagoon: Murano, famous for the glass production, but also Burano, where we'll admire the famous colorful houses and, last but not least, Torcello; -I will mix historical details with hints about local traditions and lifestyle to make you feel like a local in Venice; -Would you prefer a food tour experience, to try the local "Cicchetti" and wines? I'm the queen of "aperitivo":) I can take you to the best local osterias in town! -During the tours I'll be happy to share useful hints for your pleasant stay in Venice! This is the ideal tour for first timers in Venice: the purpose of the tour is to guide you through the discovery of the charming history of the city but also to get in touch with its soul and origins. Since I was raised in a Venetian family, the local traditions and culture are part of me and I'd be happy to show you the most authentic side of my hometown! We will see how locals live the city nowadays and you'll get to know what it's like to feel like a local in such a one-of-a-kind city and, of course, I will provide some useful hints to get the most out of your stay! During most of the tour we are going to explore the yet not-touristy spots of the Venice, but we will also immerse ourselves into the magic atmosphere of the most famous sites, such as the stunning Rialto Bridge or the breathtaking St. Mark's Square and we will end our visit admiring the golden interiors of the Basilica of St. Mark.

Expérience inoubliable ! Captivant et adapté à chaque personne. Je recommande sans modération 😉. Grazie Lucrezia
We had a wonderful 'orientation' tour of Venice with Lucrezia, who did a great job explaining the history of Venice to us and taking us on a walk through San Polo, the Rialto Market, the Rialto Bridge, the home of Marco Polo, and finishing in the Basilica of San Marco, pointing out interesting things along the way and telling us about Venetian culture. I have been to Venice twice before, and learned many new things that were a great prelude to our exploring the city on our own the next couple of days!
Our family of 5 spent a couple of hours with Lucrezia for a intro walking tour of Venice upon arrival. She took us all around, off the beating path and away from the crowds. Lucrezia shared her vast knowledge of the history and culture of Venice and has an extensive list of all the best restaurants, bars, gelato, etc to visit. Her English is absolutely perfect and we would highly recommend her. Lu, thank you for a wonderful afternoon. It was such a pleasure.
Pleasant guide, gave a good overview of the city within the limitation of only two hours of walking tour
Lucrezia was fantastic. Very knowledgeable. Had lots of pictures on her iPad to give us better view if what we were looking at. Her English is excellent with little accent. Very easy to understand (even with a mask!). Very pleasant, an excellent experience
