Federica showed us a wide range of cicchetti, from the uber traditional to the avant-garde. Throwing in a bit of Venetian history and teaching us how to navigate the maze of alleys in Venice, this tour was fabulous!

Hi, I've been working as a tour guide since 2018. I moved to Venice once finished the high school to study at the Cà Foscari University, and then I stayed. I love Venice for being such unique, an incredible stand-alone reality, and a place where the human contact is still very present and part of the daily life. Despite its small size, Venice has thousands of sides to be discovered and several labyrinths where to get lost. Discovering Venice with me means looking her through an experienced local's eyes, fell in love with this city. I love traveling and experience new places, cultures and habits. I love the outdoors, walking, and sharing my experience with my guests. I think that meeting different people with different cultures and backgrounds has an inestimable value. This is a perfect tour if it's your first time in Venice, or If you've already been here, but you've not explored this city like a local yet. Join me on the visit of the most famous market of Venice, the Rialto market, pulsating heart of the historical Republic of Venice, the so-called "Serenissima", that had been the neuralgic center of international trading for centuries. Along the way, we will immerse ourselves in the ritual of ombre (little glass of wine) and cicchetti (small appetizers), which recalls the attention of local people from the mainland as well. So, enjoy together the magic atmosphere that you can experience in our bacari (Venetian wine bars). I'll escort you to one of Venice's oldest bacaro, and I'll show you this area as only a local can do. We'll see places hard to find on your own, even if in they are located in the city center.

We had the best time with Federica and touring Venice. The places we visited to taste food and visits were outstanding. We never would have found these places. Federica was so helpful with suggestions on what to try. It was a great tour and I highly recommend. We did a lot of walking but it was not hard.
Federica was fantastic. She provide a great tour filled with history and hidden spots we would have never seen. Very fun and highly recommended.
Great tour! Very fun to try local dishes while exploring new neighborhoods
It was a fantastic and fun way to be introduced to Venice - we tried foods we wouldn’t not known existed! And you have to try the Venice Spritz! Federica Was an amazing host - super friendly and knowledgeable! Would use her again if we were staying longer !
Very fun and informative tour in Venice,
-We will visit together the famous Rialto market and, after a break at one of the oldest bacari, where also Giacomo Casanova used to go, follow me and admire the typical postcard view from the top of the Rialto Bridge. -Then, I will escort you to see one of the most exclusive and stunning views of the city from the top of a beautiful terrace. -Then, we will proceed walking and see where Marco Polo's house was located, and after this, we will explore some hidden corners, such as an exclusive courtyard inside a bacaro, where we will stop for a glass of wine. -The several stops we will be making along the way will satisfy your palates, and even though we will be in the heart of the city, I will conduct you in some hidden corners you would never find on your own.
