Hello there! This is Antonella, a Venetian born and raised travel and culture addicted tour guide and tour leader. When in Venice I don't offer only the factual information clients expect but also a cultural context that creates a more rewarding experience. I sense the kind of guest in front of me and adapt in no time delivering a tailor-made tour. When I don't lead/guide I act as an active member of a theatre company. My passion for theatre is very useful for my profession as I never "lecture" my guests: I actually engage them. When I don't act I write, obviously about travel! I live in Venice since I landed here for university studies. Later, I never wanted to leave the city, which I love deep down, if not to travel the world, of which I feel a citizen. Antonella was a wonderful tour guide. She was knowledgeable about the history of Venice and navigating around the city. She showed us so many wonderful places that were off the beaten tract and just beautiful. She was delightful and it was a pleasure to spend our day with her.
Our Group of 16 LOVED our tour with Antonella! She was incredibly knowledgeable in four tours that we did with her - Gliding on the Waterway, Murano/Burano and unbelievable history that she shared with us during our walking tour of Venice, Doges Palace and St. Mark's Basilica. She is very professional and a joy to do a tour with! It is clear that she loves her city and is passionate about sharing her knowledge! Definitely will book with her when we return in 2023!
Let's change perspective and observe the city on the water sliding on the Grand Canal. On board of a private water taxi, like a movie star! For us Venetians, the Grand Canal is like the High Street of your city: you can't walk, though, nor even swim! In one hour we will discover some of the most beautiful palazzos that overlook this ancient tributary of the Medoacus Maior river and we will breathe the magic peacefulness of inner canals, observing everyday life at close and privileged distance. We will also have the opportunity to admire a part of the huge Venetian Lagoon and end in front of Piazza San Marco, from where you can continue your day independently.
