I'm a so happy to present myself - I'm a licensed guide in Venice and especially I'm local… yes I'm a local Venetian who was born and lived in this unique city for 29 years. Now I live in a city nearby only 20 min by bus but my heart is still in Venice. I have the history degree from Ca'Foscary the university in Venice and I'm offering my knowledge with simplicity and fun to tourists enjoying them a lot. I love this guide work and it's a big honor to explain with passion and love Venice to tourists, I like to do tours in the main areas such as San Mark's square and its beauties as doge's palace and San Mark's basilica but I can guide in other "hidden" and not usual places from Rialto to Marco Polo's area where he was born and lived. I can show to you the Jewish ghetto and other interesting places in this unique city. Venice is so different from other cities in the world and you will like for sure and during my tours I will show to you these with all my passion and you will feel inside of you. So now i'm waiting for your bookings for one of my tours, you can choose and you will like and enjoy with me. Alessandro is waiting for you. Thanks a lot! I've a history degree from Ca'Foscari university; I'm a licensed guide in Venice. I’m not a taxi driver. I do especially walking tours in Venice. I have a lot of contacts of taxi drivers in Venice anyway

What can I write about the place where I was born and lived for nearly 30 years. . . it was so unique to live there, when I was a child I went to my elementary school near the lagoon, I went to play football in a nice field inside the Redentore parish. It was so unique to go fishing on Giudecca canal with my fishing pole. In July it was so beautiful to partecipate to the unique Redentore celebrations with the local residents and watching the beautiful fireworks in Giudecca canal just in front of the Doge's palace This island it's separated from the main areas such as San Mark's square and Rialto market where you have a lot of crowds here you can feel so quiet and relaxed, sure you will like this tour
Giudecca island a popular and residential area where you can still feel the real venetian life with nice areas where you can find venetian people . -you will visit in first the old church of Santa Eufemia built in the X century a. c. in romanesque style. -After I will show to you some artisan's shops in a nice old cloister near campo San Cosmo e Damiano -After you will enter and visit the famous church of "Redentore" built in the XVI century and you will see beautiful paintings by Palma, Tintoretto D and Bassano. You will see the wonderful garden inside the brothers' convent. -We will end the tour in a baccaro (a tipical venetian bar) and I will offer to you a drink while you will eat the "cicchetti" very good small slices of bread with fish, eggs. . . -there could be an option with a water taxi to take and going to Giudecca island or from Giudecca back to the grand canal or leaving you where you like
