What if you had a friend in Venice, someone who truly knows the city? You’d expect them to take you to the iconic landmarks (maybe even skipping a few lines along the way!), but also to share their Venice: the quiet calli, the hidden bacari, the local markets, the everyday rhythm of real Venetian life. That’s exactly what I offer. Forget the standard tours! My experiences are tailor-made, just for you, exactly as I would do for a dear friend. I’m Manuela, a licensed tour guide and tour leader, proudly Venetian for generations. For over twenty years, I’ve had the joy of helping travelers from around the world fall in love with this extraordinary city. My tours aren’t just about places, they’re about emotions, stories, and the feeling of belonging, even if only for a day. Each experience is fully customizable to your interests, timing, and pace. Whether you have one day or several, I’ll craft an itinerary that reflects what you truly want to see: from grand palaces and famous squares to the secret corners where Venetians still live and breathe their traditions. You’ll have one guide (me) throughout your stay, ensuring a seamless, personal experience and a deep connection with the city. Want to explore Venice’s glorious history? Or stroll through quiet canals, away from the crowds? You can combine both: that’s the beauty of a private, personalized tour.! Together, we’ll create a journey that feels like Venice is yours alone. So take a moment, breathe in the magic of this city, and imagine discovering it through the eyes of someone who calls it home. Let’s make your time in Venice unforgettable, authentic, inspiring, and entirely yours.

Our experience begins at the Rialto Market, the heart of Venetian life, where fishermen and locals gather each morning. After exploring its lively atmosphere, we’ll take a gondola traghetto across the Grand Canal, gliding past centuries-old palazzi on a short but unforgettable crossing (ticket paid on site). On the other side, we’ll walk through Cannaregio, one of Venice’s most authentic districts, visiting quiet lanes, charming bridges, and the monumental San Giovanni e Paolo. Along the way, I’ll share stories of daily life, trade, and tradition that shaped the city. Then, we’ll board your private boat and sail to Murano, the island of glass. There, you’ll step inside a working contemporary art studio, far from the tourist crowds, to watch master glassmakers at work. Every creation you’ll see is handmade and officially certified, a living testament to Venice’s artistry. We’ll return by boat, surrounded by the reflections of the lagoon.
Experience the real Venice in this 4-hour private journey that blends daily life, hidden charm, and timeless artistry. We’ll begin at the Rialto Market, where colors, aromas, and local voices reveal the city’s authentic rhythm. From here, we’ll cross the Grand Canal aboard a traditional gondola traghetto (ticket paid on site), just as Venetians have done for centuries. Once in Cannaregio, I’ll guide you through peaceful canals, artisan workshops, and quiet squares that capture the city’s true soul. We’ll pause at Campo San Giovanni e Paolo, a magnificent square steeped in history, before boarding your private boat to sail across the lagoon toward Murano. There, inside an exclusive contemporary glass art studio, you’ll meet artisans transforming molten glass into unique pieces certified by the Italian Ministry of Fine Arts. A genuine and elegant encounter with Venice’s creativity and living traditions. Rialto market open Mon-Sat 8am-12am

The meeting will take place in Campo San Giacometto, in the Rialto area, in front of the Church of San Giacometto, just at the foot of the Rialto Bridge — an easy-to-find and lively location. Alternatively, I would be happy to meet you directly at your hotel, if it is located nearby or in the St. Mark’s area, for added comfort and convenience.
