What if you had a friend in Venice, someone who truly knows the city? You’d expect them to take you to the iconic landmarks (maybe even skipping a few lines along the way!), but also to share their Venice: the quiet calli, the hidden bacari, the local markets, the everyday rhythm of real Venetian life. That’s exactly what I offer. Forget the standard tours! My experiences are tailor-made, just for you, exactly as I would do for a dear friend. I’m Manuela, a licensed tour guide and tour leader, proudly Venetian for generations. For over twenty years, I’ve had the joy of helping travelers from around the world fall in love with this extraordinary city. My tours aren’t just about places, they’re about emotions, stories, and the feeling of belonging, even if only for a day. Each experience is fully customizable to your interests, timing, and pace. Whether you have one day or several, I’ll craft an itinerary that reflects what you truly want to see: from grand palaces and famous squares to the secret corners where Venetians still live and breathe their traditions. You’ll have one guide (me) throughout your stay, ensuring a seamless, personal experience and a deep connection with the city. Want to explore Venice’s glorious history? Or stroll through quiet canals, away from the crowds? You can combine both: that’s the beauty of a private, personalized tour.! Together, we’ll create a journey that feels like Venice is yours alone. So take a moment, breathe in the magic of this city, and imagine discovering it through the eyes of someone who calls it home. Let’s make your time in Venice unforgettable, authentic, inspiring, and entirely yours.

Discover two authentic sides of Venice in a private four-hour experience that blends art, tradition, and the rhythm of lagoon life. With me as your guide, you’ll explore the refined charm of Dorsoduro, the city’s artistic heart, and the timeless beauty of Murano, where glass turns into art. We’ll start with a peaceful walk through quiet calli and scenic views along the Grand Canal, then board a private boat to cross the lagoon. Along the way, I’ll share stories, legends, and local insights that reveal Venice’s soul, reflected in the shimmering water and soft light. On Murano, we’ll visit a historic glass furnace to watch master glassblowers at work — an ancient craft passed down through generations. This experience is authentic, elegant, and relaxed, designed for those who want to see Venice through the eyes of a true local.
Our journey begins with a short and authentic Venetian experience: crossing the Grand Canal aboard a traditional gondola ferry (2€ to be paid on site) to reach the artistic district of Dorsoduro. Once there, we’ll enjoy a peaceful walk through one of Venice’s most elegant areas, home to quiet canals and hidden corners. We’ll admire the exterior of the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, a treasure of modern art overlooking the Grand Canal, and visit the historic Squero di San Trovaso, one of the last traditional workshops where gondolas are still built and restored by hand. Our walk continues to the splendid Basilica della Salute, a Baroque masterpiece standing proudly at the entrance to St. Mark’s Basin. From there, we’ll board your private boat for a panoramic cruise to Murano, where we’ll visit a historic glass furnace and watch master glassblowers at work before returning to Venice through the calm, shimmering waters of the lagoon.
