My name is Cecilia, I was born and raised on the mainland but I have a real strong connection with Venice: my family comes from the Rialto Market area and my great-grandfather owned one of the most prestigious café in St. Mark's Square. After graduating at the University of Venice in Economy and Management of Arts, I've decided to follow my istincts and after few years I got my diploma of sommelier (2008). I've studied (and I currently study!) a lot and I worked in one of the best wine shop of Venice. In 2020 I successfully passed with distinction the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Level 2. At present I lead wine courses for a few American Military bases in Italy. Licensed tour leader, I love my job because I love Venice, its hints and shapes but, first of all, I strongly believe that the culinary heritage is an essential part of its history. I love to visit the Market and chat with local vendors, taste new wines and share my Passion in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Overview of your Venice tour

Embrace the sweet side of life with this two hours walking tour to discover the traditional sweets of Venice. You will learn how to order an "espresso" or a "macchiato" or a "macchiatone" to be enjoyed with a traditional pastry. Full of energy we will walk to an artisanal gelateria where they only use fresh milk from the Dolomites and where they change their flavours according to the season... We will finish tasting a fantastic homemade tiramisù where the moka coffee really makes the difference!
