A VIP Tour in Venice With a Local Guide

Francesca was fabulous. She met us at our VRBO Apartment at 10am. We walked the Compo areas and she provided great details about the history of Venice. She handled the tour tickets to Doge Palace. The history of the palace is fascinating. We also toured St Mark Basilica. She joined us for a lunch at Trattoria da Bruno which she recommended. My ravioli was superb. We walked the bridges and checked out the other districts. Francesca has been living in Venice for 18 years. She was personal, prompt, well versed on Venice stories and history. Book with her. You will be delighted.

This was our best TBL tour in Europe. We had so much fun on our ‘VIP Tour of Venice’ with Francesca. She is so knowledgeable about the city and its history. Francesca was very flexible in adjusting our planned itinerary to allow us to see and do what we were unable to do the previous day due to rainy weather. Our gondola ride thru the quiet canals of Venice was another memorable event of the day. We asked for Francesca’s restaurant recommendation-we ate at Rosso Pomodoro Restaurant which was one of the day’s highlights-the brick oven pizza and pasta were soooo delicious. Although crowded, our food arrived quickly. Highly recommend this restaurant for an authentic taste of Venice. Francesca is a wonderful host -fun, informative, and a delight to be around. Highly recommend Francesca to guide you during your trip to Venice, whether it is this particular tour or a different one.

Francesca Was absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend her tour ! And she took us on our favorite lunch of our 12 day trip!!!!! She was very knowledgeable and made it fun for my kids to learn as well :)

Francesca is the best tour guide that i have every had and I have had several tour guides! She is intelligent, knowledgeable of the history of the area, and was able to relate to people of several age groups who were in the group (ages 50-85). She took us to see sites and structures of historical importance in Venice from buildings, waterways, modes of transportation , markets, churches, etc. We gained an appreciation of the importance this city in history and its place in modern times.

Francesca Ranieri was on time with a big sign, exactly at the agreed location. In spite of rainy, cloudy weather, our six hours were full of ideas, knowledge, and entertaining information regarding Italian culture, architecture, geography, food and history. She was energetic, enthusiastic and solicitous of any of our needs in guiding three adults through a very full day. Could not have been better!
