Ciao! I’m a licensed tour leader and national guide, born and raised in Venice, with family roots in the city stretching back over 500 years. I would love to share my Venice — both the famous landmarks and the hidden treasures — with you. From the bustling Piazza San Marco to quiet hidden gardens, from boutique artisan shops to secret alleyways, I’ll guide you through the city’s beauty, history, and traditions. Along the way, you’ll hear family stories passed down through generations about the personalities, mysteries, and legends that shaped Venice. Many visitors book me for their first full day in Venice, whether arriving by cruise ship, flying in for a short stay, or passing through on a longer Italian journey. My tours are designed so you’ll leave not only having experienced the very best of the city, but also with the confidence to explore independently — armed with maps, recommendations, and insider tips from a true Venetian. But our adventures don’t stop at the city’s edge. I also offer unforgettable day trips to Padova, Verona, Treviso, the Dolomites, and even Florence. Together, we can make the most of your time in Italy — whether it’s an art-filled stroll through medieval towns or a breathtaking mountain walk. I am available daily from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm, including weekends and public holidays, and often at short notice — even if you arrive without plans, there’s a good chance I can be ready to guide you. Why choose a private tour with me? Every itinerary is tailor-made for your interests — from grand landmarks to authentic bacari (wine bars) for a cicchetti tasting. I can help arrange experiences like gondola rides or artisan workshop visits. You’ll enjoy the flexibility, depth, and personal touch that only a private guide can offer. It's a cluster of 118 small islands separated by canals and linked by bridges. Some of these islands, beyond the main group, harbour unique attractions that often get overlooked by most tourists, we are now going to discover 3 of these sights. Each of these lesser-known sites offers a different glimpse into Venice's rich tapestry of history and culture. We will move between Castello and Dorsoduro. Eventually I will be happy to add any other place that you might be interested in.
Come with me and let's explore what is hidden among the city's labyrinthine calli, behind unassuming facades, and on the less frequented islands of the lagoon, are gems that most visitors never get the chance to experience. Scuola dei Dalmati, these is one of the places where you'll really get a sense of the city's soul, its history, and its people. We will see the best art produced by Vittore Carpaccio. We continue our walk to reach the church of San Zaccaria. Located near St. Mark's Square, the Chiesa di San Zaccaria is a beautiful church that is often overlooked by visitors. The church's interior is filled with stunning artwork and frescoes, including works by Giovanni Bellini and Tintoretto. When and you will hear the story of the small communities which used to live in this area of Venice. Accademia bridge and finally we are in Dorsoduro. We will visit one incredible place of this Sestriere which is the Frari Church to discover the secrets of the most incredible Franciscan friars church.
