What if you had a friend in Venice, someone who truly knows the city? You’d expect them to take you to the iconic landmarks (maybe even skipping a few lines along the way!), but also to share their Venice: the quiet calli, the hidden bacari, the local markets, the everyday rhythm of real Venetian life. That’s exactly what I offer. Forget the standard tours! My experiences are tailor-made, just for you, exactly as I would do for a dear friend. I’m Manuela, a licensed tour guide and tour leader, proudly Venetian for generations. For over twenty years, I’ve had the joy of helping travelers from around the world fall in love with this extraordinary city. My tours aren’t just about places, they’re about emotions, stories, and the feeling of belonging, even if only for a day. Each experience is fully customizable to your interests, timing, and pace. Whether you have one day or several, I’ll craft an itinerary that reflects what you truly want to see: from grand palaces and famous squares to the secret corners where Venetians still live and breathe their traditions. You’ll have one guide (me) throughout your stay, ensuring a seamless, personal experience and a deep connection with the city. Want to explore Venice’s glorious history? Or stroll through quiet canals, away from the crowds? You can combine both: that’s the beauty of a private, personalized tour.! Together, we’ll create a journey that feels like Venice is yours alone. So take a moment, breathe in the magic of this city, and imagine discovering it through the eyes of someone who calls it home. Let’s make your time in Venice unforgettable, authentic, inspiring, and entirely yours.

In this tour I’ll take you on an exclusive six-hour private experience to discover the most authentic and refined side of Venice. We’ll start at the Rialto Bridge, the historic heart of Venetian trade, where I’ll share stories of merchants, markets, and life on the water. As we wander through narrow calli and quiet courtyards, I’ll explain the delicate balance between the city and the lagoon, and the natural causes behind the acqua alta, a phenomenon that has shaped Venice for centuries. We’ll reach St. Mark’s Square to visit the Basilica and Doge’s Palace with priority access, admiring their mosaics, grand halls, and masterpieces of art. If you wish, we can enjoy a short coffee break in a local café loved by Venetians. Then, aboard a private boat, we’ll sail to Murano to visit a historic glass furnace turned art studio, where you’ll meet the artist at work. The tour ends with a private return to St. Mark’s Square.
Walk through Venice’s most charming calli, hidden corners, and peaceful courtyards. St. Mark’s Square: visit the Basilica and Doge’s Palace with reserved access. Optional coffee break. Private boat to Murano: visit a traditional glass furnace and meet the artist. Private boat return to St. Mark’s Square.

The meeting will take place in the elegant setting of St. Mark’s Square, specifically between the two iconic columns by the waterfront — a landmark location that is both easy to find and rich in historical significance. Alternatively, for added comfort and convenience, I would be delighted to meet you directly at your hotel, should it be located within the St. Mark’s area. This flexible arrangement ensures a smooth and effortless beginning to your experience.
