My name is Alexios and I'm a licensed Tour Guide. When I was a child, I used to spend all my vacation in ancient Olympia, my mother's homeplace. Τhe usual and immediate visual and physical contact with these antiquities had a huge impact on me. From the very first moment, inquiries such as "what's this", "when", why", gave birth to my continuous thirst of knowledge, regarding Greek history and archaeology. Therefore, I studied History, Archaeology and History of Art in the University of Athens. I worked as an archaeologist for a couple of years and, in 2014, I obtained the Tourist Guide Licence, doing what I always did with friends and visitors: transmitting knowledge and offering first-hand experience. Specifically, I have worked systematically as a licensed Tour Guide in ancient Olympia, Athens and, for 4 years, in the beautiful islands of Kos and Nissyros, in the Dodecanese region. What do I offer to you? Some really special guided tours of Athens and wider region of Attiki. Together, not only you will be able to fully understand the importance of ancient Athens and the impact to modern western society, but also I will unfold medieval, ottoman, jewish and modern parts of history, 'cause Athens is, above all, a mosaic of civilizations. My tours are customized according to my guests' needs and interests. I'm always next to you to provide any kind of help you need. With an expert by your side, you will acquire a new Greek friend! • Bachelor degree in Archaeology and History of art, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. • Official Tourist Guide License. • Certificate of Proficiency in English (University of Michigan). • Certificate of Proficiency in Spanish (National Foreign Language Exam System). None.

When someone travels from Athens, through the Riviera, to Cape Sounion, the view leaves him speechless. The Temple of Poseidon, stands at that point for centuries gazing the endless Aegean sea. Just as the foreigners from the 18th and 19th century visited the temple, and carved their name on the marbles, so modern visitors will capture this unique scenery to their memory. With a licensed tourist guide by your side, you will get several information about the site of Sounion. You can take amazing photos especially during the sunset. For me is one the best places in Greece, combining all these elements which make my country so special, mountains, sea, antiquities. Another masterpiece of the Golden age of Athens is waiting to be seen.
• Pick up from your hotel or port. • We start our tour by driving the amazing Riviera of Attiki until we reach Cape Sounion. • Guided tour in the archaeological site and free time. • We drop you off to your place of stay. Of course everything can be tailored to your needs and interests.
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
