Hello there ! I am Jérémie, full-time tour guide and holder of the professional Tour Guide card. I was born in Lyon in 1990 and I'm still in love with my hometown city. When I was a kid, I spent a lot of time exploring my city, reading stories about it, hearing my grand-mother telling me how the city was when she was my age. That's how you fall in love with a city. When I was 18, I went to University of Lyon to study History. I studied History for five years, lived in Canada for one year, then one year in Australia, came back here, graduated, and became a professional tour guide. Now, I'm working as a full time tour guide in and around my hometown. Best job ever if you ask me, especially when you're passionate about something: telling you all the stories I've learnt that make me think that Lyon and it's surrounding area is the best place in the world. Let's go to Perouges! Just thirty minutes away from Lyon, on top of a hill, you'll see a weird little village coming out straight from the Middle Ages. Welcome to Perouges, one of the few medieval cities still standing in France. Take a walk back in time and follow me through the old alleys of the city, from the fortress to the main square. In this tour you will have a tasting break in the medieval inn of the village to try the famous Galette of Perouges
Perouges is a wonderful town to visit, only a short distance from Lyon. Medieval villages are always our favorite places. Jeremie did a great job of bringing the place alive. We really enjoyed it and can recommend Jeremie with out reservation.
Jeremie was fantastic!! Nice, friendly, great sense of humor and so knowledgeable. We really enjoyed our afternoon with him in Perouges. He was even accommodating to our pick up and drop off needs which was very helpful. We'd love to do another tour with him one day.
