A Perfect First Discovery of Lyon - express Tour

A 3-hour tour for good walkers! This tour will be a good introduction to the city's history from the Roman times to the Renaissance. I am passionnate of History and I know (almost) everything, so don't hesitate to follow me. We will start with a breathtaking view over the city from the top of Fourviere hill, then we will have a look at the stunning basilica Notre-Dame and we will pass through the impressive Roman theatres. After that, we will walk down the hill through a picturesque street off the beaten track. And from that moment, we will be in the old town where you will be charmed by the little courtyards inside the old buildings, the secret passageways, the colors, the good smell of food at noon, the craftsmen at work. . . And if it is not a Monday or Sunday, we will stop in an authentic silk workshop to discover how the silk is traditionaly still woven in Lyon. . . Allons-y! Let's go!
