Hello there ! I am Jérémie, full-time tour guide and holder of the professional Tour Guide card. I was born in Lyon in 1990 and I'm still in love with my hometown city. When I was a kid, I spent a lot of time exploring my city, reading stories about it, hearing my grand-mother telling me how the city was when she was my age. That's how you fall in love with a city. When I was 18, I went to University of Lyon to study History. I studied History for five years, lived in Canada for one year, then one year in Australia, came back here, graduated, and became a professional tour guide. Now, I'm working as a full time tour guide in and around my hometown. Best job ever if you ask me, especially when you're passionate about something: telling you all the stories I've learnt that make me think that Lyon and it's surrounding area is the best place in the world. So now, I'd like to welcome you in my city. I propose you a unique guided experience in Lyon private tours. Discover the hidden parts of Lyon that few people know about. Step back in time and follow me into the footsteps of the Canuts (the old silk weaving workers), in the traboules (secret passageways) of the Old Lyon or enjoy the lookouts over the city right next to the old roman vestiges of the Fourvière hill. I'm also doing wine and food tours. We're very lucky to have amazing wine countries right outside Lyon: Beaujolais in the North and Rhone valley wines in the south. Discover the Lyon countryside, as beautiful as ever, and rich in historical, culinary and wine-growing heritage. From the Beaujolais hills to the steep slopes of Côtes-Rôties, vineyards and winegrowers sublimate a terroir shaped for millennia. All of my tours can be tailored to your preferences. My goal for you is to enjoy a real experience with a local! 2008 - Bachelor Degree 2011 - Bachelor Licence of History University Lyon 2 2013 - Master Degree of History Université du Québec à Rimouski 2014 - Master Degree of History University Lyon 2 2015 - Professionnal Bachelor Licence of Tour Guide (Guide Conférencier) I do not have any restriction

Right next to Lyon lies the charming Vienne, a small city full of history along the Rhone river. Let's go and explore the hidden treasures of the city, from the Roman vestiges to the Pipet Hill. The city is also well situated in an agricultural area which produces one the finest wines of the Rhone Valley: Les Côtes Rôties. Between the Roman temples and the Cathedral lies so many legends…could we find the treasures of the Templars?
Meet me in front of the train station in Vienne. We'll start with the Cathedral, the Roman Temple, the City Hall, some mural paintings and the Garden of Cybele. Option: we hike on the top of the Pipet Hill to embrace the amazing lookout. Option 2 with extra cost: I'll pick you up in Lyon, then we have (depending on the traffic) about one hour - thirty minutes drive to reach Vienne. Then, we do the tour!
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
Walking tour! If you need me to drive you to Vienne from Lyon, it is possible on request with extra cost.
