I'm Karine, your private licensed guide for Lucca, Pisa and Florence provinces.

I live in Italy but I was born in the south-west of France in 1970. I'm a professional working in tourism and have been organising and escorting individual customers and groups for 30 years! I have a limitless passion for Italy and one of my dreams came true when I settled in Tuscany in 1991, after obtaining my national guide's licence in France. I work as a tour leader in Tuscany and Italy since 1993, I am a licensed guide in Florence, Pisa, Lucca and their respective provinces. I'm a member of the National Association of Touristic Guides (ANGT) and the European Guide Federation (FEG).

During these thirty years, I've met all kinds of obstacles in organising trips and, above all, a sea of emotions with customers who've always been ready to share experiences and knowledge. On the other hand, I've learned that customers aren't all the same, to be offered the same tours as everyone else. I like to understand what people like so I can offer them the programme they really want.

Working in travel agencies has allowed me to understand the work from the organiser's point of view and my experience behind a desk, together with years and years of contact with customers, has given me the professionalism that only the most varied and numerous experiences can give.

In the morning we will have a 1hr30 walking tour of Lucca from your accommodation in Lucca. Then the private chauffeured minivan will pick us up, we will drive to Pisa (20 mn) where our walking tour will show you the highlights of the city included the leaning tower for max 2 hours.
Then we will be driven to Florence for a walking tour of the Accademia museum where the original David statue stands, and the main monuments of the city.
The minivan is for 8/9 hours for us, including the return time to Lucca from Florence (1hour).

Pisa, Lucca and Florence, Full day excursion tour from Lucca

Vinci is not only the great Leonardo's surname but the name of the little village on top of an enchanting hill, 44 kilometres from Florence on the way to Pisa/Livorno, where he was born in 1452.

The landascape is amazing around the village of Vinci: we are totally surrounded by green hills of olive groves, vineyards, forests and cypresses. The village itself is enchanting, well looked after with lots of flowers.

We can combine this half-day visit with another half-day including, for example, San Miniato, with its legendary white truffles, in the province of Pisa and very near Vinci.

We can also combine a half day in Pisa with its leaning tower. Alternatively, we could sample some of the area's fine products such as the wine from the Montalbano hills and the extra-virgin olive oil, with some local snacks.

Vinci and Leonardo full day tour

This tour is absolutely unmissable to see finally the art works you always saw in the books. Standing in front of the original David in Accademia gallery, the Leonardo Annunciation or the birth of Venus in the Uffizi gallery is a full experience of emotion, even for me!

I will have purchased in advanced the tickets in order to prevent you a long line to enter inside. And then we will jump from a century to another by looking at the masterpieces of Florentine and Italian artists; From the original statue of the David by Michelangelo to the pointings from the 13th century with Giotto, to finish with the end of the 16th century with Caravaggio.

It is not boring because I chose for you the most important canvas and I explain through them the story of Florence!

We will have also the opportunity to admire the beautiful Lordship square, the Ponte Vecchio and the fantastic Duomo.
