I was born and raised here in Livorno, the sea gateway to Tuscany. I organize tours all over the region and transfers all over Italy. I cater mainly, but not only, to cruise guests who have limited time to spend ashore. I have designed some private tours geared on them, to allow the clients to visit the Tuscany highlights and "off the beaten path" destinations too. Although I am not a licensed guide and I cannot take people inside museums, I am able to deliver a commentary giving basic informations about the places you are going to visit. The tour includes roundtrip transportation and english speaking driver-guide. I arrange cycling tours as well! I provide top notch hybrid or road bikes, me as english speaking guide, helmets, transportation to the tour starting point and back to the ship. I also provide transfers all over Italy to or from any Tuscany's destinations. I have a License for driving people on a minivan, and for delivering cycling tours as well. I am not a licensed guide and will not be able to guide you inside historical monuments or museums.

This tour allows you to see in 5 hours the main highlights of two of the most visited Tuscan's cities and can be exended to see the beautiful Lucca countryside with no extra cost. And if you are interested it's possible to vist an estate in the countryside to taste wines and olive oil. I am very familiar with this area as I was born and raised in Livorno, the ship port city near this area. I am also fond of wines and that's why I toured this area thoroughly; furthermore my girlfriend was fond of shopping so we visit Lucca often for its fine shops. You can be sure you won't miss anything worth to be seen!
We had a lovely day with Leonardo in Pisa and Lucca. The van was comfortable and easily seated our party of 6, and Leonardo shared great information as he drove us around. He suggested we move our Pisa tour earlier to beat some of the crowds, which was a great suggestion. We also toured Lucca, which is a lovely place full of history. I would highly recommend this tour.

Leo helped us have a great experience in Luca, Pisa, and the Tuscan countryside. He picked us up at the Livorno cruise terminal and drove us along the coast through the Southern part of Livorno before heading to Lucca. At Lucca he turned us over to Christian, who took us on a 2.5 hour walking tour of Lucca, filled with stories and historical anecdotes. From there we drove to Fattoria al Poggio for a delightful lunch and wine tasting. After lunch, in Pisa, we toured the city, focused on the University of Pisa colleges, before stopping at the Duomo, Baptistry and Tower for photos. At 5pm, after a wonderful day, Leo said goodbye to us at our ship. Leo was a fine and fun guide and companion for the day. Importantly, Leo is a very skilled and safe driver. We highly recommend him and this tour.
Leonardo was an excellent tour guide. He was punctual, accommodating and knowledgeable. Our visit to Pisa was all we could've wished for in terms of smooth access to the site and guided walkaround. His arrangement for the local guide, Christian, for Lucca resulted in a completely enjoyable tour of this fantastic city. Best was the fabulous Italian luncheon at Fattoria Maionchi winery he arranged. TBL success, again!
Leonardo was absolutely wonderful! He was attentive to our needs and requests. Our group of 6 ranged in ages from 68 to 77 and he was gracious about modifying times to accommodate our needs. The additional stop at the wine and olive oil farm for lunch was exactly what we wanted to see in Tuscany.
Leonardo had a slight issue with his van on tour day so he took care of us and got us to where we needed to go for the day anyway. We went to see Pisa, Lucca (we loved Lucca) and our favorite part was the Winery he arranged for us to go to and have lunch at with a tasting. It was perfect, there was hardly any one there and it was amazing scenery. Also, the best food we had our whole trip.
- From Port to Pisa, 30 min; drive through the city center, I will point some highlights as Ponte Di Mezzo, Santa Maria Della Spina, Piazza dei Cavalieri all from outside. - Stop 1 hour at Piazza dei Miracoli to see the Cathedral and Leaning Tower; it is possible to visit both inside. - 40 minutes to Lucca on a back road through pictoresque villages. - 2 hour walking tour in the old walled city to see the main highlights as Roman Amphitheatre, Fillungo street with its old fine shops, Verdi Opera House, San Michele in foro, Puccini birth place, and a walk on the massive city wall, all from outside. You will have lunch here too, a quick one or a good restaurant where to taste local food, according to your desires. - 1 Drive through the Lucca country side, famous for wine and olive oil production, a stop at a winery can be added (1 hour more). - 45 minutes drive back to the port.
