Get ready for a relaxing day out to Pisa and Lucca, one the most popular shore excursions not only for first time travellers but also for frequent visitors. We will start the drive towards Pisa where you will have the opportunity to take pictures of the famous Leaning Tower and all the monuments in the Miracles Square. The Leaning Tower seen with your eyes will take your breath away! We will spend about an hour here and you will have free time enjoy the square on your own. Later on we will head to Lucca driving across the Tuscan countryside and mounts, on the way I will give you lots of information of the area and our local traditions. Once in Lucca, I will point you the main attractions and you will have free time to stroll around the city center, you might opt to rent a bicycle and ride on top of the city wall! Around lunch time we might decide to leave the city to enjoy a nice lunch in Tuscany. This is a great opportunity to visit two of the most important and beautiful cities in our Country.

Five stars! Our day with Gianmaria was one of the highlights of our trip. Warm, down to earth, and gracious, he made Tuscany feel personal and unforgettable. He shared stories along the way and took us to a lovely local lunch spot with a tiny garden along the river in Pisa. The branzino was perfect. His new Mercedes van was immaculate, with wonderful air conditioning on a hot Tuscan day. We’ve traveled with guides throughout Europe and Asia, and Gianmaria’s tour was truly a five-star experience — made even more special by how easy and enjoyable he was to spend the day with. We had a wonderful day with Gianmaria on his Pisa and Lucca tour. He met us at the port in Livorno with a spacious, comfortable luxury van and took us first to Pisa, where he gave us the lay of the land, helped us get tickets for the Leaning Tower, and even snapped a few photos of our family from street level while we were at the top—a thoughtful touch. After some free time there, we continued to Lucca, where he oriented us, let us enjoy lunch, and then guided us around more of the town. On the way back, he surprised us with a stop at a local gelato shop—some of the best we’ve had anywhere. Gianmaria was kind, easy to talk to, and balanced giving useful information with leaving us space to explore on our own. Highly recommended for a comfortable, flexible day trip.
We cannot say enough how wonderful Gianmaria was to deal with. We wanted a different type of tour, one to see the Carrera Marble mine in the mountains and he excelled at planning a thoughtful day for us; sites that were amazing to see and navigated us through the day easily. His kind, welcoming manner and great planning provided a day that far exceeded our expectations. Gianmaria arranged the day so we could just enjoy the sites without worrying about a thing. We highly recommend Gianmaria, and will reach out to him again when we are back this way again!
Gianmaria did an excellent job with the tour. He was waiting for us when we got off the ship and was ready to go. He not only knew the local history of Pisa and Lucca, but also the surrounding areas and much of Italy also. He has a great personality and made the tour lots of fun. I would definitely book another tour with him again if we ever go back.
