Livorno-Florence Accademia and Uffizi Shore Excursion

Going to Florence and seeing the David is a nice visit to Italy but if you want to feel seeped in the beauty of the art and history of the place you need the knowledge to bring that past alive. Loredana is passionate about art and its history with a deep understanding of both. Despite having seen and studied these works and doing many tours it never felt repeated or stale. She took us on a true journey through Florence. You don’t just see the statue of the David or the paintings of diVinci, she brings them Into context to truly appreciate the masterpieces.

This tour was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Without exaggeration, it was the best tour for all our family. With Loredana, it was pure magic as the city of Florence became alive for us, with its rich history, outstanding paintings and architecture, all of it made an indelible impression on all of us. Our teenage children who generally prefer sport to museums, did not miss a single word, and one of them even said that if he heard Loredana earlier, he would choose art as a major! We highly recommend this tour.

This was awesome! Lori's knowledge of art is first rate. She arranged a fantastic driver that picked us up in port at the end of the Viking Sea's gangway. We have taken the cruise company's excursions, and always feel rushed. This was totally worth the investment and would encourage anyone who is interested in the art to book this tour.
