We had a fantastic day with Gianmaria. He was friendly, easy to talk to, and made the whole day enjoyable from start to finish. We decided to skip Pisa and spend our time in San Gimignano and the Tuscan countryside, and it was one of the best decisions we made on our entire cruise. Tuscany was absolutely beautiful, much less crowded, and just felt like a more authentic experience. If you're trying to decide between Pisa and Tuscany, we'd choose Tuscany again in a heartbeat. We had actually been to Florence before, so this visit was more about revisiting a few favorite spots and spending time in the leather markets. Florence was great—as always—but definitely crowded. Gianmaria made sure we had plenty of time to shop without feeling rushed, while still sharing interesting history and local insights along the way. Gianmaria was a great guide all day—knowledgeable, flexible, and genuinely fun to spend time with. Everything went smoothly, and our group of seven had an amazing experience.
