Siena and San Gimignano Shore Excursion

Fabulous Tour! Leonardo picked us up promptly at cruise port holding a sign with our name on it. We proceeded to Siena where he had Guide Sophia waiting for us. Sophia gave us a most interesting private tour. She was kind, funny, engaging and very knowledgeable of Siena; as she has personal family connections to the history of Siena. Then, we continued through the Tuscan region enjoying the views as we headed to another most charming historical town, San Gimignano. Here we had time to walk through the town as well as shop. Upon our request to experience a wine tour in Tuscany, Leonardo coordinated a lunch with wine tasting at Tenuta Torciano for us…..we had the most memorable private lunch/tasting experience to end our tour.

Leonardo was a good driver getting us to our tour locations safely. He was very accommodating and knowledgeable about the areas. He arranged for a local guide in Sienna. Sophia was great and walked us through the streets of Sienna with all the history. I would certainly use his services again and recommend him..

Leonardo is a polite, friendly and knowledgeable guide who went out of his way to show us the best of his beautiful Tuscany region. Leonardo included sites not originally on our schedule, and we are forever grateful. Highly, highly recommended.

My wife and I just completed 2 sensational days with Leonardo around Livorno. He maintained a highly positive attitude and a genuine desire to ensure that our time met and exceeded our expectations as first-time travelers to the region. The vehicle was clean and comfortable, and Leonardo went out of his way to accommodate some mobility limitations of my wife due to recent knee surgery. He even helped us retrieve lost luggage where others had failed! We highly recommend him.

We were a party of six. Our tour was with Leonardo to San Gimigano & Siena. It was absolutely perfect. If we had to rate it on a scale of 1-10 it would be a 12. We were able to stop at other out of the way places that were amazing. Leonardo was very informative & very nice. He definitely is a major part of our rating. I & the rest of my party will not hesitate to use ToursByLocals again or hesitate in recommending them to our friends. Thank you Leonardo for making that part of our trip the most memorable!

Leonardo was a fantastic guide. He was on time, extremely knowledgeable of the area and provided us a tour specifically designed for our needs. We wanted something different than Pisa and Florence and Leonardo suggested and provide stops at Bocelli's Theatre of Silence, Volterra ( quant village) and Sienna. While visiting some of the local sites in Sienna, Leonardo secured lunch reservations for us at a wonderful local restaurant. Would highly recommend him for tours throughout Livorno area
