CIAO! My name is Nicoletta, (Niki), I am a native of Tuscany, born and raised in Livorno, mother of two wonderful kids, with a passion for this magical terrain and its enchanting places. I love my job! I’ve been a professional driver since 2010, working largely with cruise passengers docking at the ports of Livorno and La Spezia. After working with a variety of established agencies in Tuscany for many years, I opened my individual one in 2014 so that I could share my personal way of visiting Italy’s iconic places with travelers wanting a genuine, “tours by locals” experience. I also wanted to offer up some of the hand-crafted tours I’ve developed over the years, incorporating such elements as boutique wineries, to travelers in search of a unique itinerary... cater to small groups looking for a fun and friendly tour that gives you the most bang for your touring buck. My service encompasses shore excursions from the port of Livorno and the port of La Spezia, as well as day trips from Florence. Exploring Italy’s amazing destinations with visitors and sharing my knowledge with those who love to discover new places is the reason I get out of bed in the morning! Lucca is my favorite place: the perfect little escape, a holiday feeling just around the corner (maybe because I actually live not too far from here...) I could spend hours wandering its charming streets, browsing shops, savoring gelato and coffee. And the walks along the ancient walls? Pure magic. That’s where I often take my children to play and ride their bikes: a simple joy, wrapped in timeless beauty. So.. join me for a fun, easygoing day made for families and curious travelers! We’ll start with a quick photo stop in Pisa to see the iconic Leaning Tower, then head to the lovely walled town of Lucca, perfect for a relaxed stroll, a bit of shopping, and soaking in real Tuscan charm. To end on a high note, we’ll visit a family run winery in Montecarlo di Lucca for a delicious homemade lunch and wine tasting. Great food, warm hospitality, and a taste of authentic Tuscany... all without the rush! Flexible departure: Livorno Port, La Spezia Port, or Florence (upon request)
Your Livorno tour itinerary
- From Livorno Port, after a 40 min drive, you’ll be dropped off right at Pisa’s Campo dei Miracoli, skipping the usual 20-min walk. - You’ll have 30/45 minutes to visit the Leaning Tower, cathedral, baptistery, and cemetery. - Next, we head to Lucca: full of boutiques, great food, and amazing gelato. Its Renaissance walls are now a peaceful park, perfect for biking or walking. Highlights include Piazza dell’Amphiteatro and Palazzo Pfanner. - After a scenic 25 min drive, we’ll visit a family-run winery in Montecarlo di Lucca. - Enjoy a short tour followed by a homemade lunch with 6/8 wine pairings: antipasto, seasonal pasta or rice, dessert, and fruit. Lunch cost not included: 45 € per adult / 35 € per child. All my tours by locals are customizable!
