A perfect day for travelers who want to discover both the beauty of Tuscany’s countryside and its fascinating medieval towns. Today I will drive you to Siena, in the southern part of Tuscany. We will enjoy a scenic drive through the countryside before exploring the main squares and highlights around the Duomo and Piazza del Campo. I will share historical insights, local traditions, and stories about the Tuscan lifestyle, while giving you time to enjoy the city at your own pace. On the way to Siena, we may make a quick stop in the enchanting fortress of Monteriggioni for a coffee and to admire its medieval charm. We will stop in Monteriggioni only if we are not visiting a winery during the day. Later, we will visit the beautiful medieval village of San Gimignano, famous for its impressive towers, architecture, local wine, ceramics, leather shops, and, of course, delicious gelato! A memorable day exploring the heart of Tuscany!

Best tour of our entire trip. GIanni was exceptional host and driver who provided a fun day for us even though we had all been to Tuscany numerous times. The lunch at the winery he suggested was exceptional. we even had to go into the kitchen to tell the cook it was "Belissimo" especially the Tiramisu which was best we have ever eaten in all our extensive travels Johnny picked us up promptly, returned us on time to the ship safely maneuvering the roads of Tuscany. He showed us places we had never been.

1) Pick-up at the Port/Hotel at 8:00 AM. 2) Drive to Siena via the main highway and through the beautiful Tuscan countryside. Enjoy 2 hours of free time to explore the city on your own. 3) Stop at the Monteriggioni Fortress for lunch, only if we are not visiting a winery. 4) Drive to San Gimignano, with free time for shopping and sightseeing. 5) Return to the Port/Hotel by approximately 5:30–6:00 PM. Wine Tasting & Lunch at a Local Winery: Available upon request and must be arranged in advance. Not included in the tour price and to be paid on site (€60–€70 per person).
