Hi everyone! My name is Michele ( a. k. a. Mike ), I was born in Pisa 35 years ago and was raised (and still live) in a town called Cecina, on the Tuscan Coast. My father is the one who first introduced me to the tourism business, and I immediately thought it was the perfect job for me!! I used to work for a big Italian tour operator, as a tour leader for groups of Italians traveling around the world, until I decided to start something on my own! Thanks to my mother's help I was able to improve my language skills, and I started working as a professional tour guide - driver since 2010. Sometimes clients ask me if I ever get tired of touring around with people in the same areas, but my answer is always the same one : NO!!!! I love my country and never take for granted the fact that I am so lucky to live in this region: my goal is always to provide a personalized experience for the client , and make your day the best one of your vacation! If you are planning to visit Italy , and specifically the area of Tuscany and the Cinque Terre, I am the right one to help you out! I can pick you up from the port where your ship will be docking ( La Spezia, Portofino, Portovenere, Livorno) or from the hotel or villa where you will be staying at to take you on a great tour! The vehicles used to provide the services will be Mercedes or VW with all the modern comforts, wifi and water will always be available for you! Maximum capacity of each vehicle will be 7 or 8 passengers plus the driver. Lots of information on the places you visit will be provided to you, and we will be able to access the historical restricted traffic area of the major cities with the vehicle, allowing you to see much more in shorter amount of time! You will be picked up from the cruise terminal in Livorno and driven from there towards the Cinque Terre National Park. On the way there you will b able to admire the greatness of the Carrara marble quarry that you will see on your right hand side. You will be driven through the city of La Spezia and start climbing the mountain until you reach Manarola, the second of the five villages. Over there your driver guide will help you out purchasing tickets for the ferry the will be taking you to Vernazza first , and Monterosso afterwards . After you board the ferry in Manarola, I will drive to Monterosso where I will be meeting you as you get off the ferry. You will be recommended with a nice lunch option to taste local seafood specialties or the famous focaccia. On the way back to Livorno you will be stopping in Pisa by the Square of Miracles to take some incredible pictures of the leaning tower!
Michelle reacted promptly to adverse weather conditions and adjusted the tour suited to our interests and physical mobility needs. In the end we had a wonderful experience to see Cinque Terre, a bucket list destionation of ours for many years, We always felt in the hands of a safe driver and very well experience guide during our time with Michelle.
Michale T our guide was outstanding. Very informative and helpful, knew the roads and pointed out features that only a local would know. Besides being informative, he gave us a lot of insight into what Italian culture is and what is important to them.

Michele (Mike) provided our group of eight with a fantastic tour of Cinque Terra. He even accommodated some last minute changes due to some ambulation issues with a few people in our group. I highly recommend Mike for touring. He used a microphone so that everyone could hear his conversation and provided an excellent van.
What a gorgeous tour!!! Michele planned an amazing itinerary for me and my family- making the necessary adjustment to accommodate our large group. He was communicative and patient with us- and ensured that my mother was comfortable along her journey. He ensured that we had everything we needed to catch our Trian and ferry- and met us along the way to point us in the right direction. His suggestion for lunch was perfect- and his photo spots were postcard perfect. Cinque Terre is one of the most beautiful spots I have ever visited-and Michele's expertise and warmth made the day perfect.
We enjoyed our day with Mike. He's very knowledgeable and was vey happy to accommodate our group of all ages. He was on time to pick up and drop off from our cruise port in Livorno. Our day with Mike was a highlight of the trip.
7. 45 am - Leave from the cruise terminal in Livorno 9. 30 am arrival in Manarola, time to walk through the town and to purchase the ferry tickets. 10. 45 am - Hop on the ferry and go to Vernazza. Time to stroll around Vernazza. 12. 30 approx - Hop on the ferry to reach Monterosso , the largest of the five villages. 1. 00 pm approx - Meet your driver in Monterosso as soon as you get off the ferry. 1. 00 pm / 2. 30 pm - Time to enjoy lunch and stroll around Monterosso. 2. 30 pm - Departure to Pisa. 4. 00 pm - Arrival in Pisa. 4. 30 pm - Departure to Livorno port. 5. 00 pm - Drop off in front of your ship. IMPORTANT: in case of bad weather, you will be offered the option of taking the local train or being driven from one village to the other instead of the ferry **** FERRY TIMING MAY VARY WITHOUT NOTICE **Please note that this tour involves walking on uneven surfaces , lots of stairways, steep walks down and uphill, not recommended for who has mobility issues** Please ask for any questions!
