Ciao, I am Giuseppe . Welcome in Tuscany!!! I am specialized in shore trips, walking city tour, day trips outside of the city and I am always positive, passionate and , above all, flexible . I was born and raised in Florence and I am never tired of discovering the secrets of my city, where Dante, Leonardo and Michelangelo have lived. Secrets that I want to share with you!! This is the reason, because 17 years ago, after traveling a lot, I started this wonderful job as driver-guide that allowed me to discover every corner of Tuscany. In these years I have tried to combine my earlier career with my best interest by studying and obtaining the titles of licenced enoturistic guide, licenced guide of Florence, Pisa, Siena and its provinces that allows me to cover an immense extension of my region to present it in an informative and entertaining style. My pastimes are swimming and walking for miles in the early morning in the parks of Florence or in its narrow streets when you still smell the scent coffee. Almost every morning, when I don't work, I explore a new town, a city crossing unknown streets, rediscovering the atmoshere of the past. I love to studying the wine-growing areas, but above all the history of art. My personality always tends to customize your tours and to make you perceive, through my explanations , the atmosfhere, the history and evolution of the cities and territory where we will walk or drive. With my van I can come and pick you up everywhere in Tuscany and especially in the ports of Livorno and La Spezia and we will cross the rolling hills surronded by cypresses, vineyards, olive trees and sunflowers. I am an official guide of Florence and Pisa and, truly, this tour will give you the opportunity to explore two cities that were fundamental in the history of art of Europe: The old maritime Republic of Pisa, symbol of Tuscany from the 11th-12th century, famous for its charming Romanasque style concentraded in the Leaning Tower and jewels of religious center. Florence city of the Renaissance symbol of armony and modernity in 15th-16th century where you can discover its historical evolution going from the old Roman foundation to capital of Italy by admiring the emblematic monuments of its medieval history when the bankers and woolen industrialists developed the construction of the city, until a family of bankers, the Medici, in the 15th-16th century supported the flurishing of modernity, of beauty and talents like Brunelleschi, Leonardo and Michelangelo, the so-called "school of the world".
Giuseppe was a great host and guide. His van is clean and comfortable. Meet-up and drop-off were seamless from our ship. Giuseppe is very knowledgeable and is eager to share, as he walks you through his home and backyard. He also has a wonderful sense of humor and is entirely flexible in terms of where you go and what you see. I would tour with him again. Andiamo!
If you are a fan of art history, Guisseppe is the guide for you! We saw so many sights and learned so much as we toured Florence and Pisa. The drive through the Tuscan countryside to reach Florence was beautiful!

Giuseppe is an excellent tour guide! He took our group of 7 to Pisa and then Florence. In Florence, he took us to David’s Academy, the Cathedral, and on a walking tour including the Old Bridge. He was very enjoyable and knowledgeable about the history, architecture and art in Florence. We would definitely book a tour with Giuseppe again.

Giuseppe is incredibly knowledgeable and not afraid to share his knowledge about history, the region, art, architecture, etc. We had a really nice day with him -- we were impressed by the religious centre of Pisa, and we thought Florence was just gorgeous. The view from Michelangelo square was amazing. Giuseppe also took the time to drive us through the vineyard region in the countryside outside of Florence, so we felt we got a little extra insight into the area. We definitely recommend Giuseppe if you want a guide who knows a ton and is passionate about his region.
