Buongiorno! I'm Karine, your private licensed guide for Lucca, Pisa and Florence provinces. I live in Italy but I was born in the south-west of France in 1970. I'm a professional working in tourism and have been organising and escorting individual customers and groups for 30 years! I have a limitless passion for Italy and one of my dreams came true when I settled in Tuscany in 1991, after obtaining my national guide's licence in France. I work as a tour leader in Tuscany and Italy since 1993, I am a licensed guide in Florence, Pisa, Lucca and their respective provinces. I'm a member of the National Association of Touristic Guides (ANGT) and the European Guide Federation (FEG). During these thirty years, I've met all kinds of obstacles in organising trips and, above all, a sea of emotions with customers who've always been ready to share experiences and knowledge. On the other hand, I've learned that customers aren't all the same, to be offered the same tours as everyone else. I like to understand what people like so I can offer them the programme they really want. Working in travel agencies has allowed me to understand the work from the organiser's point of view and my experience behind a desk, together with years and years of contact with customers, has given me the professionalism that only the most varied and numerous experiences can give. With your private chauffeured minivan I will wait for you at your accommodation/harbour; there is 1h15 driving from Livorno to Florence, and 1h30 from La Spezia to Florence. During the journey I will comment you all you what you see through the car windows, introducing what is Tuscany. Once arrived in Florence, we will make a stop on the panoramic terrace Piazzale Michelangelo, and then we will go down still by car straight to the city center, to visit the Florence historical center. After the lunch time, we will drive to Pisa (1h15) and we will stop at the feet of the Leaning Tower. I will describe you the fantastic simbology of this square, called miracle square. We will come back to your accommodation/harbour: for Livorno: 45 mn, for La Spezia: 1h.
We were a group of 20 people ranging in age from 2 yrs to 75yrs. 10 were children. Karine kept it interesting for everyone. She arranged a bus to take us around for the day. We visited outdoors in Pisa and then outdoors as well as trip in to see the David in Florence. She was great. We would use her again.
Karine was able to customize our tour to meet the needs of our large family. She was knowledgeable, friendly and cooperative. We were able to see major sites in Pisa and Florence efficiently.
My family had a great visit to Florence and Pisa with Karine. Karine was very knowledgeable, informative, and definitely had a lot of love for her city. Only problem was that we didn't have enough time to spend together experiencing Florence and Pisa.

Outstanding tour guide. She was extremely knowledgeable about the entire area we toured. She knew how to handle a larger group (12 of us) and be efficient so we got a complete day. A special tour in the two most famous cities of Tuscany. Florence with its treasures will give you the desire to come back for more time, and Pisa will surprise you, despite the many photos you already saw. You can take in consideration this excursion from any city in Tuscany, Livorno and La Spezia included. The tour includes the transportation up to 7 people in a private chauffeured minivan, and the guided tour in each city with me.
