My name is Panagiotis - but you can call me just Panos (much easier!!) - and I am an accredited Tourist Guide based in Athens. I was born and raised in the city of Patras, but I have been living in Athens for the last 21 years. Since I was a kid my parents used to travel a lot around Greece and Europe, so many of my childhood memories are full of suitcases, endless hours of driving around, and airports, of course. But, what I remember most is that it was somehow obligatory to make cultural visits and/or activities before we even set foot in a new place. Thus, my parents instilled the passion for traveling and culture in me! So, one of the reasons that I started learning foreign languages was to better understand the culture and the way of living of other people while traveling abroad. So, the key word is to communicate and participate in everyday life with locals, so that you have a better insight into the country that you visit.
