Share a taste of Madeira with me on a private four-hour tour combining island traditions, mountain views and wine. I'm Vitor, a friendly local guide who enjoys meeting people and bringing Madeira's stories to life. Start in Monte, near Monte Palace, for the famous wicker toboggan ride. I can help organise it; the ticket is paid separately. Continue through the vineyards around Estreito de Câmara de Lobos and discover our wine-growing traditions. At Boca dos Namorados, pause for views over the Nun's Valley before descending through rural scenery with a short off-road section, conditions permitting. Finish at Blandy's in Funchal with an included tasting of three Madeira wines. Along the way, enjoy conversation about our history, local products and island life. Funchal pick-up and drop-off are included. Not available on Sundays. Traffic, queues, weather and venue availability may affect the order of stops. Monte Palace garden admission is not included.
