We loved the tour Carlos took us on! He worked with us to create a tour that took our preferences into account along with his recommendations. We especially enjoyed the focus on experiencing the natural landscapes of Madeira. He dropped us off at several locations where we took a short hike and he conveniently picked us up at the other end. Carlos was animated and personable and we enjoyed hearing about him growing up here and his love for Madeira. Pickup's and drop off at the port went smoothly.

We LOVED our time in Madeira. It is such a wonderful time and Carlos took us to some beautiful places over on the north of the island. We saw some lovely water falls and coastline. We are from Kauai and it was a bit like home in its beauty. The weather was a bit cool but in March but that was par for the course for the Canary Islands as well. Carlos also went out of his way to take us to a awesome Madeira Wine shop and dropped us off to take the sled ride down!

Carlos was a superb guide, he picked us up from the cruise port and dropped us back at the port. We had the best day exploring beautiful Madeira and tasted some lovely local cakes. Carlos provided our group of 6 with the most wonderful day possible in Madeira! We were amazed how much of the island we were able to see (knowing there is more to come back and see!). We knew we would enjoy our stay here, but we were left wanting to come back for more! The scenery is so breathtaking - we had no idea. Everyone we encountered was warm and friendly. Carlos even took us to a place on the other side of the island for a most wonderful lunch featuring a local fish. It was some of the best cuisine we had on our entire trip. We will never forget this day. Carlos is an excellent guide, and you should book one of his tours!

Tour of surrounding area was great. We did not go into the city centre which we should have insisted on. However, Madeira was beautiful and makes you want to go back.

In the Private Tour we are going to use a gray Citroen C4, with 5 seats or Toyota Avensis Verso with 7 seats or Volkswagen Transporter with 9 seats. You can request any of them, if available. All are very comfortable. If you want a better car, I'm able to get a larger passenger van for groups above five people. Just contact me for details and a quote.
