Overview of your Funchal tour
Day 1 In this journey you will also notice our Century old trees in Fanal, having stories and memories that no man can tell, where the colour green is always with you. Waterfalls will be something that you see very often along the roads from Porto Moniz to São Vicente, beautiful and natural sights of water falling down throughout the rocks and cliffs. Agua D'alto is one of many waterfalls in the area, where we will make a brief stop to contemplate its simplicity and natural beauty as well as to see the astounding view of São Vicente and Ponta Delgada Day 2 You will see the old, alternative, magical roads that were used in the old times and were still being used in recent days. These are roads in places where the old traditions still remain in the daily life of the locals. We will be able to present to you their perspectives as we travel throughout time. You'll also see amazing views of the central mountains, then later the landscape over the north east coast and valleys of the island.
Your Funchal tour itinerary
Day 1 -Leaving Funchal heading to Câmara de Lobos -Going through Câmara de Lobos, Cabo Girão will be the next stop. -Continuing this trip, we will also visit Ponta do Sol, where we will start our ascent into the mountains, more specifically Paúl da Serra plus Fanal the magical forest. -Going down Ribeira da Janela is going to be the next stop -Then we will proceed to visit Porto Moniz, where you will have the opportunity to swim in famous natural pools. -At this point of the trip we will start our return by passing through Seixal, and São Vicente will be the last stop. Day 2 Leaving Funchal on the way to Pico do Areeiro, the third highest peak. -Continuing this trip, we will go down to Ribeiro Frio where you'll have the opportunity to do a short hike. -Passing through valleys, mountains, and astonishing views Santana it's a mandatory stop on this trip, there we can stop for an optional lunch. -Then we will proceed to the Guindaste viewpoint passing through Porto da Cruz and finally end at P. S. Lourenço
