Hello, and welcome to Madeira! The Paradise Island, that I am lucky to call home. My name is Vitor, born and raised in Madeira. I lived most of my life in the island, and also spent a few years in the UK. I love travelling and discover new places, but the love for my home land has always pulled me back here, where I feel I truly belong! I am a husband of an amazing woman and father of three gorgeous kids! I love spending my time outdoors and I have a passion for vintage cars and classic jeeps. I have discovered Madeira's hidden gems, as well as it's commonly visited places. Driving my classic jeeps I am confident using quiet and narrow off roads, and introduce you to the history and flora of the island as well as the agriculture and local way of living. And last but not least, I know just where they make the best traditional Poncha in the Island! I have nearly 15 years of experience as a jeep tour guide, but I like to make every day count! I am responsible and flexible at the same time, and I will always do my best for you to have an experience that you will cherish! I am offering full day jeep tours to both side of the island as well as half day introduction of different areas of Madeira. Come and join the West Adventure with me to visit Madeira's hidden treasures! An excellent opportunity for you to discover views you might have only seen in movies, valleys and mountains, that could not be any more perfect and our very own natural swimming pools in Porto Moniz! To make all this available to you, we will travel safe but super fun off roads! And also the beautiful Forest of FANAL. Heading to Ribeira Brava using the old fashioned side roads offering wonderful views to the ocean. An amazing opportunity to take some photos to remember. Heading to Paul da Serra! One of the highest place of the island at 1400 meter above sea level, looking down to breath-taking valleys, forests, mountains, even to Calheta. Excellent opportunity to take a levada walk of about just before visiting the beautiful Forest of FANAL. Then heading to Porto Moniz for a traditional lunch, surrounded by the natural lava pools. We will view 4 amazing waterfalls and also visit a black sand beach in Seixal Join the Adventure!

What a day! Vitor and his jeep let us experience the wonders of a very varied Madeira in just a few hours. Mountains, tide pools, black sand beaches, driving through the clouds, basking in the sunshine—wow, the West Coast has it all! Vitor is friendly, funny, engaging and informative. He shared about his life growing up in this beautiful island and is knowledgeable about nature and history. All in all a great day…
This was amazing! We spent almost three weeks in Portugal and had a wonderful time but our tour with Vitor was by far the highlight of the trip. Vitor is funny, knowledgeable and so much fun. His family goes back generations in Madeira so he knows the island's best spots, history, backroads, and quirky sites (hello Elvis shrine). We had morning coffee with the locals, walked alongside the lavadas, swam in natural pools and ended with the best poncha in Madeira. The next time we are in Madeira, we will definitely contact Vitor and ask him to show us more.
This tour was very scenic and you see parts of the island you would probably never see if you took a traditional bus or mini van tour. Vitor was extremely knowledgeable and explained about Madeira’s traditions, practices and the reasons for certain things which helped us to understand the island better. We thoroughly enjoyed the views and Vitor’s narratives. He is pleasant, honest and funny. He answered any questions we had, even those about him and his family. Thank you so much, Vitor. Well done!

This tour will take 8 hours including pick up and drop off from and to your accommodation. Upon arrival we will have a short introduction and I will go through the plan of the day with you, to make sure it is customised to your interests as best as possible! Also comfortable minibus could be arranged. During our tour I will take you to many different view points to the valleys and ocean and I will introduce the local flora and history! We will drive on narrow and off roads and have lots of fun! Stops during this tour are: - Ribeira Brava (An amazing view to the ocean and town) - Ponta do Sol ( We will drive through this amazing village) - Paul da Sera (An excellent opportunity to have a lovely levada walk with amazing views at 1400 m high) - Porto Moniz( Amazing views of the lava pools) We normally stop here for lunch. This can be arranged on the day. - Seixal ( We will visit the volcanic black sand beach) - We will drive past 3 amazing waterfalls and will make a stop at the fourth on our way Groups welcome
