Overview of your Funchal tour
This tour is perfect for nature lovers! We will start in Funchal and drive to the best hiking trail in the island! Located in Madeira' center Mountain Massif. It's around 17 km long hike full of treasures, inside of Laurissilva Forest where you can enjoy the live ecosystem heart beating and you will experience this first hand. We'll pass three Levadas, man-made channels created to carry water for agricultural fields' irrigation around the island, two tunnels of 10-15 min (dug by hand), a winter lake and several waterfalls. For nature lovers, walking alongside a Levada, having their banks often festooned with wild flowers, is one of the most unique experiences to have while staying in Madeira. With me you will be able to know the history and secrets hidden from the eyes of foreigners. After the hike we have option to go for a beach and/or for a local restaurant to relax and get all the memories together like if we were afraid that it was a dream.

In the Private Tour we are going to use a gray Citroen C4, with 5 seats or Toyota Avensis Verso with 7 seats or Volkswagen Transporter with 9 seats. You can request any of them, if available.
