Hello, welcome to the Island of madeira. A little Paradise in the middle of the Atlantic that I luckily call home, that is also rich in costumes, tradition and heritage. My name is Antonio, I was born and raised in Madeira Island. I live a city life, but have connections with the island's rural life, where my free time was spent listening to stories from older people and what it was like in their time, having the perspective of how their lives were. I was abroad for a few years in Venezuela, The UK and lastly Italy. But I always returned to the island. Last time that I returned, I needed to reinvent myself to escape from my normal life. It all began gathering friends and going on adventures in a little 4x4, discovering the island truly from a different perspective. From then on, it was the beginning of my dream job. My Land Rover Discovery is my office. Using this car we can reach narrow roads and off-road tracks to find hidden places and fauna. Let me take you with me and share the best of our island. My 4x4 tours are designed for people who really want to explore the island in a relaxed, calm way trying to escape from crudeness, learn about our culture and history. Your time is my commitment. Did you know that Jeep tours in Madeira are a fun and different way to get to know the island? They allow you to discover the entire island, including hard-to-reach places that can only be reached by off-road vehicles. So let's scape from the crowds of the city towards Ribeira Brava. Here we will start our journey admiring the valley that starts at the sea and ends on the mountains. From there, off we go through the west to reach the natural pools of Porto Moniz. After some time spent on porto moniz hill, let's climb the mountains to visit the millennial trees of the island, ending our tour on the second highest peak of the plateau Bica da Cana.
- At the Ribeira Brava viewpoint for for photos and knowledge of the town. -Second stop Ponta do Sol for to visit the port of this location. -Continuing along the sloping and contorted roads between banana fields stoping at the top Moledos to Admire the banana plantations and steep terraces. -we will head towards calheta to reach the region of Prazeres and have a stunning view from a cliff over paul do mar with a 360 view. -The emblematic lighthouse here is at 290 Mt from the sea level. -Before our departure, another viewpoint of Cabo da Boa Morte. -Arriving at the real destination Porto Moniz time for a swim. -After departure from portomoniz our destination is the Fanal to finish our tour in big visiting the unesco world heritage site and our beloved laurisilva forest. -Consequently to cross Paul da Serra reaching Bica da cana to return to Funchal. * This itinerary can be customized.
