Welcome to my Profile!! My name is Miguel a local guide raise and born on this heavenly island we call Madeira! I like free diving and playing pool in my free time :) Since 2010 I am "working" in tourism as a tour guide, my expertise is in taking tours in 4X4 vehicles , I must say I had one of the best teachers in the business (40 years of experience) who worked in Africa and in Europe. Overview of your Funchal tour
Did you know the island is all about amazing views all around? Allow me to show you all! We will make a stop in Câmara de Lobos municipality which is very picturesque, on the way up to the mountains we visit the highest sea cliff in Europe with 580m height! A view not to be missed, you will be able to take amazing picture and memories of views you will never forget. Carry on to across the banana fields, cherries and apples trees trough the Eucalyptus forest of Quinta Grande. Of course, we will continue trough the vineyards area of Estreito de Câmara de Lobos which represent more that 50% from all vineyards in the island (Madeira wine), also we will see a good example of the terraces cultivation seen throughout the island. We will have a stop in a local spot where you can try the traditional drinks and cakes, a must for visitors. Finally we will visit the Nuns Valley from a very nice view point, where we can admire the magnificent village in the middle of the island and embrace its breathtaking views.
