A travel professional, a storyteller, and a tour guide for Amsterdam & The Netherlands. Hello there! traveller. How nice of you that you want to know more about me. I am Gopi, and the Netherlands has been my home for the last 12 years. I am a marketing professional by qualification and moved to tourism in 2017. My keen interest in learning the history of the country as well as understanding the cultural elements of the country that I call my current home, has persuaded me to start my own travel business. How am I different from the rest? I love to put a creative spin on all the tours I offer. Be it the 'Royal Tour', where you will learn about the Royal past and present, or the 'Golden Age tour', focusing on the Golden Age which transformed The Netherlands, my tours are extensive and you will return to your home with more than just facts. I offer immersive tours where you get to know about the Netherlands. Small but significant, the Netherlands has played a huge role in shaping the modern world. Right from learning the difference between Holland and the Netherlands, you will be surprised to know how significant this country is even today. Take a look at my tours and let me know which one suits you the best. Importantly, I can customize the tours based on your interests. Feel free to reach out to me for any questions. Member of VVKR - A travel organisation for small travel businesses based in the Netherlands I can offer tours in my private car for up to 4 people. If you are more than 4, please send me a message and we can work out a custom tour.

Designed by passionate travel professionals, our goal is to showcase the real charm of The Netherlands. Fully private, we will pick you up from the hotel in a comfortable car. We will explore Zaanse Schans famous for its windmills, Volendam a former fishing village, and Marken a beautiful Island. We don't stop with just these 3. Our tours are flexible and we will take you to a few other small towns and villages that are known for their monumental buildings and historic significance.
Stop 1 - Zaanse Schans is an open-air museum that showcases the rich heritage of the Zaans region. You get to see the windmills of The Netherlands and importantly the place has a rural setting with beautiful photo opportunities. Located within the premises of Zaanse Schans, the 'De Kat' windmill was built in the year 1667. The windmill is unique in that it was built to make paint. Learn about the paint-making process during your visit. Stop 2 - A former fishing village, Volendam was once a lively town and is now visited for its harbour and beautiful Dutch houses. Importantly, you will also learn about the famous Dijks of The Netherlands and its impact on the Dutch landscape. Volendam is a great example. You can also hop on a boat to reach Marken from here. Volendam is famous for its seafood and you can try them with a perfect view of what used to be the South Sea. Stop 3 Marken - A small island with a population of just over 1800 residents, Marken can be visited on a ferry from Volendam or by car
