Amsterdam windmill tour
Overview of your Amsterdam tour
In a day-long trip you will receive information and have time on your own to discover these typical Dutch places. The Zaanse Schans with its Windmills and the Fishermen's villages of Edam and Marken. You will be picked-up at your Hotel and brought back in the late afternoon/early evening. During the day we will enjoy a simple lunch. Fee includes Windmill entrances, transportation, fuel, mileage, parking costs More than three people? Please ask for a custom made calculation.

We booked Wilbert for a tour to Alkmaar, Zanse Schans and Marken for the last day of our family vacation. We had 15 of us, aged 5 to 72. Wilbert did an amazing job meeting everyone's needs. He kept us on schedule while still being flexible. At Alkmaar he put the 5 young children on the cheese scale and they each got a certificate, something we would not have known to do. This day was the perfect way to end our week long trip in the Netherlands! Next time we will book him for the whole week.

Wilbert was a great guide! He took us to very interesting locations and was very knowledgeable about a wide range of subjects, including history, horticulture, water issues, and daily life for people in and around Amsterdam. I use a wheelchair and he was very accommodating and understanding. We were able to tweak the tour a bit to meet my limitations and our interests. He is a nice guy with a great sense of humor!
