Hi there, I'm Holly and I am a Brit living in the Netherlands, six years ago I moved to study my Masters in Museum Studies at the University of Amsterdam, found the love of my life and decided to stick around. After graduating in 2020, I began guiding 3 years ago, I have always loved history and dreamed of being a history teacher when I was young. Now I get to be a mobile history teacher through tour guiding and I love showing visitors around my favourite places in Amsterdam and its surrounds. My background in museum studies brings a different perspective to museum tours, and I draw on my partner's family's experience during the Second World War to bring that period of history to life when giving Jewish Quarter tours. I'm also a foodie and love to share Dutch food with curious visitors who may not have experienced Dutch food before. My tours are customizable and adaptable, and I'm more than happy to discuss your wishes to create the best tour for you. Prior to moving to the Netherlands I backpacked around Australia for 2 years, so I'm quite adventorous and happy to meet new people from all over the world! I hope I will get to show you around Amsterdam sometime soon!
