Welkom! I'm Hans, a true Dutchman and tourism professional since 2010. In 2025, I earned my taxi-drivers license, which means I obey all the Dutch laws, when it comes to guiding and driving you safely through the Netherlands. Together we discover the most beautiful places in the Dutch countryside, as new friends. I live in Rotterdam, where I was born and raised. After 32 years teaching at an elementary school, I decided it was time for a change and became a tour guide. During my working years in The Netherlands, I travelled a lot. From 1980 I travelled to different countries outside Europe. Since 2010 I am guiding groups in especially India, but also Nepal and Bhutan. And since 2022, after Covid, I have been working as a private guide in the Netherlands. The Netherlands is such a beautiful country and I love to explore it with you. The green meadows with cows and above it the Dutch blue skies with some clouds. Just like a 17th-century Dutch painting. In springtime decorated with the most amazing colors of blooming flower fields, yellow daffodils, red tulips, white fragrant hyacinth fields. It's a beautiful scenery that you can't see anywhere else. Place a few windmills there and you have the perfect Dutch landscape. To make sure people can still fall in love with the Dutch countryside in the future, I offer my tours sustainably. We travel off the trotted (and often harmful) tourist paths, try to reduce CO2 and when not possible compensate the emissions. Ready for an unforgettable day filled with flowers, fun, and the fantastic Dutch countryside? I'll come and pick you up from your accommodation or cruise ship in Amsterdam. Without lingering, we go straight to Keukenhof Gardens before it gets too busy. The park is 32 hectares (79 acres). I'll tell you all about the tulip history and cultivation. In 2-hours you can see most of it and your heart (and camera!) will be filled with colorful flowers. After visiting Keukenhof Gardens we take the back roads to see the most mesmerizing tulip fields. I know pitstops where you can pose with the tulips to snap a selfie, or try to capture the colorful panorama of tulip fields. A local lunch will recharge your battery and before I return you to Amsterdam, I love to show typical Dutch scenic views, with windmills, cute villages, and maybe a few cows—it's the perfect completion of your Private Keukenhof Tour from Amsterdam. One driver seats and four passenger seats. The middle back seat is a little smaller.
