Overview of your Amsterdam tour
This tour showcases the highlights of the Netherlands, including windmills, a cheese farm, and a charming old town, but in a very non-touristic way. Rarely visited by tourists, this tour will give you a memorable experience designed to take the guests away from touristy Amsterdam. Depending on the day, I will choose a windmill or a group of windmills located in a rural part of the Netherlands. You get to see the windmills in and out. Apart from windmills, we will visit an authentic cheese farm run by a local family. You will have a nice lunch at a local pancake restaurant. Lastly, we will explore a nearby town, depending on the location of the windmill. This could be Hoorn , Enkhuizen , Alkmaar or Utrecht.
Your Amsterdam tour itinerary
You will be picked up from the hotel at 0900. We will drive to the windmill museum (s). The drive will take about 45 minutes. Explore the windmill. Drive to the nearest cheese farm. Some cheese farms will let you explore the Barn or show the cheese-making process. Lunch at an authentic pancake restaurant. After lunch, we will visit an authentic town and explore the main sights. Drive back to Amsterdam.
