Kröller-Müller Museum and Royal Palace Het Loo

René is the best! Such a sweet man and great driver. He listened to our wants and had the best time at the Kröller-Müller museum and the Royal Palace Het Loo. We had a nice lunch and he was sweet to provide us with traditional Dutch meals. Highly recommend René and this tour!

Very pleased

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Rene. His vehicle was spotless and he drove sensibly, avoiding traffic delays. On our visit to the K-M Museum, he described some of the history behind the art, especially regarding the Impressionts and, specifically, Van Gogh. He suggested we wander the Sculpture Gardens on our own. We also visited the nearby "hunting lodge", actually a palace for Dutch royalty. His commentary was refreshingly concise and irreverent. A 5 star tour for sure.

Rene is a charming, experienced and very knowledgeable guide. We spent two delightful days with him, and we do it all again.

Rene Smit was very speedy in his replies to us, and he designed a wonderful day for us. I especially wanted to visit the Kroller-Muller Museum, and told his I was also interested in gardens, so he suggested visiting nearby Palace Het Loo. The day was perfect. He met us as agreed after our cruise and even detoured to our former hotel for a quick stop to pick up a forgotten item. Rene was a font of information about the museum and palace and the beautiful countryside, as well as being a safe driver.

We had a terrific experience with Renee visiting the Arnhem War Museum and the Kroller-Muller Museum, which has the second largest private collection of Van Gogh paintings and drawings. We were on a tulip river tour and Renee picked us up at the ship on time in his car and dropped us off at the end of the tours back at the ship. He was very knowledgeable about both museums, yet left us alone to explore both at our leisure after providing an excellent introductory explanation.
