Overview of your Amsterdam tour

Operation Market Garden was one of the most known events from WWII. The Dutch town of Arnhem played the central role during this event. During this tour visit the famous Airborne museum(s) and a war museum in Arnhem and learn more about the Operation market garden. A great stop for the 'A Bridge too far' movie fans. Don't want to spend the whole day learning about WWII? The Open air museum is a perfect alternative and is one of the most visited museums in the country. The museum showcases the Dutch history focusing on its societal aspect but in an informal outdoor setting.

Your Amsterdam tour itinerary

Pick up from the hotel at 0900 Drive to Arnhem. The drive will take about 90 minutes. During the day you have the option to visit two of the following : 1. Arnhem Open Air museum ( the largest museum and can take half a day) 2. Arnhem Air Borne museum 3. Air Borne at the bridge museum ( For 'A Bridge too far' movie fans) 4. Arnhem war museum Drive back to Amsterdam.
