Hello, it's so nice to meet you! I'm Gabriela. I was born in Buenos Aires, where I attended a British school and learned English from a very young age. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Public Relations and I lived and travel extensively in USA and Europe, both as a student and as a tourist. As a passionate traveller, one of those trips took me to Salvador, in 1993 and it was love at first sight! Im a licensed tour guide since 2000 and began focusing my studies on the mix of cultures and the profound African influence that is so present here and that fascinated me since the beginning. I have lots of experience organizing itineraries taking into consideration my clients specific interests and Im very flexible so we can have the best of Salvador within the time you have available. I love exploring inusual places outside of the typical tourist path, try delicious street food because I'm a foodie myself, listen to baian music at local bars while appreciating the sunset and get in touch with the real soul of the city. All my tours can be customized upon request. * Graduated in Public Relations by Universidad Argentina de la Empresa * Regional Tour Guide Official License from EMBRATUR * National Tour Guide Official License from EMBRATUR. I participe in lots of courses in History, African History, Art, Urbanization and Architecture. No restrictions

This full day adventure will allow you to enjoy both the magnificent panoramic views Salvador offers, as well as discover its rich history, extraordinary architecture, and dynamic culture and all of it in one day! So if you are here for a short period I definetly suggest to take it because its a mixture of history, at, food and spectacular views. We will explore the city from different angles, discovering the Lower City, with its bucolic atmosphere and the Upper City - the cradle of our city's history. As a passionate for Salvador and its african influence, we will always take the less travelled road, either to taste local street food or to visit hidden places that only locals knows and that you cannot miss while here if you want to discover the real soul of Brazil. With my experience (since 2000 working with customized itineraries) and enthusiasm I can provide you the best tour ever and show you the city through the eyes of a "porteña" living here since 1993 and we will definetly have a blast!

Gabriela was an excellent guide, knowledgeable, efficient, professional and a lot of fun. She made Salvador come alive for us with her enthusiasm and love for her city, It was a very special day. Thank you, Gabriela.
Excellent tour, Gabriella was everything you would want as a tour guide. She was knowledgeable, attentive, funny and nothing was too much trouble. We had a really good day and saw everything we wanted to. She took us to some interesting historical places and some lovely local shops and booked us places at a fantastic restaurant for lunch. We would definitely recommend her to anybody who wants to see the best of Salvador.
Gabriela provided us with a memorable experience and brought her deep knowledge of Salvador to our tour. Her love for Salvador in all of its complexity was apparent and enriching. She managed to weave in the history and the current realities of the city into the tour. She was generous with her time and her knowledge. Spending some time in Montserrat right before the sunset, tasting delicious moqueca and fruit sorbets, and admiring the Afro Brazilian art were only some of the highlights of our day with Gabriela.
There is no better person or better way to learn Salvador. Gabriela’s love for her city merges with the streets and neighborhoods.
We had a truly wonderful day in Salvador with Gabriela She is very knowledgable of Salvador and took us to the very right places. She spared no effort and not time to make us understand and love the beautiful city of Salvador. She has a car and drove us to places where few tourists go. It was extremely interesting. A very very enjoyable day A big UBRIGADO
