• We will start our bike ride through the traditional neighborhood of Barra where, in 1535, Vila do Pereira, the first Portuguese settlement in America, was born. Our first stop will be at the famous Barra Lighthouse and Fort and then we'll ride towards the Barra Port Beach. • Next, we arrive in the Ondina neighborhood, where we will find the famous "Gordinhas de Ondina" a tribute to the three main cultures that formed the Brazilian people: the indigenous, the African, and the European. • Continuing the shoreline, we will arrive at the bohemian neighborhood of Rio Vermelho, much celebrated by "soteropolitans" and tourists as one of the city's favorite meeting points, with a large number of bars, restaurants, and nightclubs. The Largo de Santana is one of the busiest places in the neighborhood, especially in the afternoon, where the smell of palm oil spreads, inviting people to eat one of Bahia's favorite food, acarajé!
