Folkloric Show & A Typical Bahian Dinner - Private Tour with Transportation Included

This evening tour will take you on a walk through the cobblestoned streets and squares of the historical area of Salvador, allowing you to enjoy the facades of the colonial houses and illuminated churches, until we reach the restaurant where we will taste the delights of the Bahian cuisine and watch a magnificent folk show, heavily influenced by Bahia's African culture, including the Candomblé religion and the most amazing dances like Capoeira, Maculelé and Samba. This tour takes place on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. However, some days of the week may need to be changed depending on the number of reservations.

To start with, we will flavor a typical Bahian dish. Then, the folkloric show begins! This riveting show starts with the presentation of the dances of the Orixás (the deities of Candomblé). Then, the maculelê, a dance-fight from the region of the Recôncavo Baiano to celebrate the harvest of sugar cane, where the slaves would use sticks and machetes. After, we will watch the famous capoeira, a blend of dance and fight of Angolan origin that will energize us with the rhythms of the berimbau and the atabaques (drums). Then, we cannot miss Samba de Roda (Samba in a circle), which gave rise to our national dance - the samba. And finally, other folkloric manifestations from the northeast of Brazil, such as "forró", "xaxado" and "baião".
